Frankly, it's great for a 34" ultrawide given the price. For better definition, you still have to pay a lot more, so that's fine. I find it a little below my VG27AQ in terms of image, resolution, contrast etc but the ultrawide is so stylish.
Product that does the job for the price, however the VA panel with gsync and/or freesync don't mix well... significant flickering when the option is activated. I've read that this is common on VA panels

So ... what can I say ... Just incredible ! I mainly play StarCitizen (photo gameplay) and ... this screen exceeds my expectations. Globally accurate colours, responsive, the wide is a real joy! Truly a superb screen

I went back and forth between the iiyama 34" LED - G-Master GCB3480WQSU-B1 and the Gigabyte 34" LED - G34WQC A.
They all have:
- A VA panel (better colour than IPS, but supposedly less good motion management, supposedly because software improvements are now making up for it)
- Good brightness
- Good contrast
- Similar refresh rate
- Similar gaming (black management, blur reduction, etc.) and office (blue light, HDR, etc.) functionalities, although Asus seems to dominate according to online tests
What made me choose the Asus:
- 125% sRGB compared to 99 and 120 respectively. Better colour reproduction.
- A stand that allows the screen to be moved at all possible angles: up and down, left and right tilt, up and down tilt, and even rotation for portrait mode.
- AMD Freesync Premium Pro, except Gigabyte
- Low power consumption
- My affinity with Asus screens and their quality, and the brand's reliability based on my own experience
- The 7500+ positive reviews on amazon US
My opinion :
- Perfect for dev. Lacks a 27-inch vertical next to it, but it's already royal.
- Insane gaming immersion, especially for someone with 10 years of 15/17" laptops under their belt
- Insane picture quality and fluidity, I gained in FPS by doubling the screen size and resolution, I don't understand why, maybe AMD Freesync?
- Easy to set up: just place the stand on a bed, screw it on, plug it in and it's ready to go!
Order received on Thursday for a Monday order in the shop on a bank holiday. No regrets.

*It is very fluid and compatible gsynch (only defect an update must be made because flickering brightness when it is activated).
*Depending on the game, you need a good configuration to reach 165/180hz. (It's still pretty fluid without being 180, you can feel the technology behind it)
*34" top - no need for more than 80cm of cinema-effect screen, it's very easy to get to grips with.
*A very simple menu
*Super top colours (Horizon, Spiderman, Final, Fornite, etc.) that really pop.
*Audio correct no need for more it's a minimum
*It's a great way to get the most out of your computer.
* Very few comments and presentations on this model from 2023 (unless there are problems with updating at the moment).
