As long as you just watch the channels on the TV programme, that's fine. But when you want to take advantage of the extra features, you need to connect to the internet. I needed the help of an LG technician and it wasn't easy! The instructions on the internet are very difficult to use. I haven't had the time to assimilate it yet.
The picture quality is as advertised and expected BUT: no printed instructions + the menu navigation system using the remote control's "laser" = head-scratching.
The TV was well received, the delivery time was very short, the service is always impeccable at LDLC. As for the TV, well, I can now describe what a great picture looks like! It's quite stunning. I was a bit worried about the lack of brightness on this 42" panel but, compared to my old LED TV, it's night and day! The day being on the LG OLED side of course :-)
