The case has a certain charm; it is nice. I regret that it does not have a reset button on the front panel next to the power button.

This case is truly magnificent, efficiency, discretion and luxury at the same time with these mesh panels.
The only downside is that these two 140 mm Aspect PWM fans included (on the front) are a bit noisy although very efficient (hence my 4/5 only, a 4.5 would be fairer), I think I will change them for Noctua in the future.
The case is beautiful, it's not cheap but in terms of airflow the PC no longer heats up at all I recommend :)
Nice case to build great configurations; the only drawbacks I think are the cable routing (cable management) where the holes on the side plate are too small and not necessarily in the right place, & the Fractal fans present on the front panel are not known for being the most reliable, otherwise it's great for the rest.
The aesthetics are meticulous, the design is both modern and warm.
As usual with Fractal Design, the finish is perfect.
Case without unnecessary extras, with cable management already done on the case cables, which is a serious advantage when building your own PC.
This case is very beautiful and well thought out.
The only drawback I find is the front dust filter (i.e. the wooden front panel). Not really practical to vacuum because of the many gaps.

The front panel is made of real wood slats (walnut for the black model, or oak for the white model).
Allows for the installation of a large graphics card and impressive AIO/water cooling.
I chose the XL model so that I could install three 140 mm fans at the front, one at the rear and a 280 mm AIO on top.
My AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card (330 mm long) fits without being cramped.

Very attractive, well-ventilated case. This is the first time I've seen wood used. Not much to complain about, except perhaps that it is rather bulky.
Installation is easy and the interior of the case is well designed. It's nice to have a design that's a change from the usual ugly cases.
I came from a Define R5 (€200 but larger) and recently assembled a Define 7 Compact (€150). I found the North to be of poorer quality.
Thinner metal and plastic, hand screws that require a screwdriver because the holes are poorly machined. The case is made of mesh, so it's not as well insulated as the Define, which has solid doors and sound-absorbing foam. The two fans are very noisy at full speed. There are two HDD slots in the form of trays, but once the power supply and cables were in place, I could only fit one.
Once the ventilation curve is configured, it remains relatively quiet.
Still, there are some positives. It looks great with its wooden front and hi-fi feet. Good airflow. There's plenty of room, no problem mounting my setup consisting of a fairly long GC (304 mm) and a huge Dark Rock Pro 5 cooler.
I'm pretty satisfied overall. You're definitely paying for the wooden front panel, which must cost more than a metal or plastic one.
Case chosen for its size, designed to accommodate a Noctua NH-D15 G2 and a 5090: there's plenty of room, no worries there.
What's more, it's big enough for me to install and screw things in with my big hands, which was nice.
There are some special features for the 3.5" HDD bays depending on the size of the PSU, but I chose a small one (Antec HCG1200 Pro Platinum ATX 3.1), so I didn't have to change anything on those bays.
There is also a bracket for additional fans at the graphics card level: I preferred to remove the bracket because it would have forced me to bend the 12v-2x6 cables from the graphics card a little too much, and apparently that's not recommended. Not a big deal since I wasn't planning on installing fans there anyway.
One small disappointment: the screw threads on the removable panels are a bit stiff, without exception: Fractal could have done a little better on this point.
This case is superb.
The design makes it easy to assemble the PC.
My only comment is that the original fans are noisy at full speed. I haven't tested it with be quiet! or Noctua fans.

I was looking for a tower that was both aesthetically pleasing and well made. I've succeeded, with this attractive, airy case. The build quality is also top-notch.
I might have appreciated a few velcro fasteners for cable management inside, but the zip ties did the job perfectly.
I love its unique style: sober, elegant, with a real identity. The build quality is top-notch and the airflow is very good. It gives the setup a premium look while remaining super practical for assembly.

The only problem was that the pre-drilled holes in the side panels were just a little too small, making it difficult to insert the screws. Nothing serious though.

The build quality is excellent and the wood and metal design gives it a really premium look. Mounting the components is easy, there's plenty of space for the management cable and air circulation is very good. The smoked glass panel enhances the interior. All in all, an excellent choice for a sober, aesthetically pleasing configuration.
Nothing to say about the case, aesthetically impeccable, but if you install a watercooling in 360 it won't fit horizontally at the top of the case, it's not deep enough. You'll have to place the watercooling vertically against the front of the case, which considerably reduces the space left for a GPU.
Magnificent case with front and top panels that are easy to remove to check the fans. The mesh front panels are perfect for ventilation. I've no idea what it looks like with RGB, but for a more sober build this case is just perfect. Be careful, though, about the size of your GPU, as the side panel is shorter than the PC itself.
I don't have a comparison because I haven't made a custom PC since Windows 98?
I was very happy with my configuration, and was well advised by the advisor, who tried to find me the best value for money.
The only problem with the case was that I'd understood that it was 'open' only on the front and back, but it's open even on the top casing, which isn't great for dust. Problem solved with a simple cloth put over it when I'm not using it.
We'll have to see over time if the 'bike' holds up.
I changed my very old Cosmos S for this Fractal. Good cable management. There's plenty of room. And clearly the design is great, it looks great in my living room with the wooden furniture around it. It's a bit expensive though and it's not a good idea to do a big installation inside, it's too cramped. I'd recommend it though.

Absurdly well-designed case, full of satisfying details. I really like the grilles used, which have a spacing calculated for standard fan sizes: the fans are installed directly 'through the grille'.
The case comes with 3 front fans that probably move enough air to act as an aircraft engine, but thanks to some wizardry they are pleasantly quiet. The fans are PWM controlled so you can always change their speed if your motherboard's default settings don't suit.
I personally bought the 'mesh' version because I want to see as little of the inside of my PC as possible, so I don't have to worry about the appearance of the components I buy, and this case is perfect because the outside is superb. It's refreshing to see good case manufacturers still making cases without glass fronts :)
There's plenty of room inside, the air flows are well optimised, it breathes and the sober look with a hint of wood is brilliant! Mind you, it's a little wide, but it's an XL case, so no one will be surprised.
The case is very attractive, and the space is quite large, although we would have liked more height for the AIOs. The management cable runs smoothly, and there's plenty of room in the dd and power supply areas. The 140 mm fans on the front are quiet. Some regrets
- the screws and bolts are disgusting, all the screw threads are dead after the first disassembly and reassembly.
- the absence of a 120mm fan at the rear
- no front panel reset button
Overall, this is a good case, but it doesn't justify its price.
The case is very attractive, very functional and clearly well finished. I like the cable management straps on the back. The fans supplied are a bit noisy, so I decided to replace them after a month's use.
Doesn't accept all PSU depths or a 340mm AIO radiator at the top. But the PC configurator is well designed and won't let you choose incompatible components. The 280mm radiator is more than enough for me anyway.
A lot of resonance from the fans, causing almost constant noise when in use: not very comfortable given the premium choice made
It's a Fractal, just like my old case. Fractal is a guarantee of quality.
Very satisfied with my Fractal Design Define R5 on my previous configuration, I wanted to get a case from this brand.
The case is absolutely magnificent on this point, there's nothing to say. However, I was a little disappointed on some points that don't seem as good as before.
Overall, the case seems less robust, with thinner materials that tend to vibrate. This is particularly true of the front panel, which occasionally starts to crackle with the vibrations; a simple press of the hand stops the noise, but it's annoying.
Access to the hard disk is buried at the bottom of the enclosure and is much less easy than with the drawer rack system.
Additional fans are needed for good airflow, as the case is only sold with two front fans (excellent, by the way).
The last obvious point, but one you don't necessarily think about, is that it's totally impossible to install a cd/dvd player on this type of tower.
Although it's a bit expensive, the case is top quality! The buttons are brass, the body is black aluminium, it's simple. Top quality. Received in 2 days.
Easy to assemble, many videos available on youtube. Provide an extra fan for the rear.

Simple, effective, uncluttered. This case fits in perfectly with any office décor, its sleek, new style with that little touch of wood makes it a superbly beautiful case. The management cable isn't complicated and the compartments help to keep everything tidy! Is it an incredible case? Well, for me it is!
Magnificent and very elegant case. Of all the PCs I've been able to assemble, this is the case that was the easiest to work with.
The option of having a 'mesh' side instead of a glass panel means that you can add 2 fans on this side, level with the graphics card, which is very practical.
One of the most beautiful towers on the market!
Superb finish, German quality.
A max 28 cm graphics card would be preferable.
Just a fault with the USB-C port connection, which is recurrent on some models. Either you have to reassemble everything and struggle to send your tower back, or you ask Fractal to replace the front connectors.

Despite a mistake on my part and supply problems, the after-sales service was always top notch and met my expectations immediately. Excellent customer service.
The case is magnificent, the size is compact, which I really appreciate, and the finish is up to scratch. Gaming performance is good, thanks to the CPU cooling, although the GPU does get a bit hot.
The real negative point of the case, which takes away 1 star, is the limited space for cable routing at the top and bottom of the CM, which sometimes makes assembly complicated.
