Very satisfied with the product, no problem, perfect screen for gaming with very good quality. When the delivery no problem to cite, package received without defect.
It's exactly what I was looking for, for playing games and teleworking! Easy to assemble and use.
I've had the screen for 2 months now and I think it's the best choice I've ever made. It's a big size (27"), which is perfect if you've got a fairly deep desk, and it's in 2K with good colours. The refresh rate is very good: 170hz. It's good enough for a few competitive games and for optimum comfort. MSI is a very good brand that makes screens that are well calibrated between professional use and entertainment. However, when the screen is completely black, you can see luminous halos from the backlight, but that's really the only time you can see this. Even in the middle of a film, with the two black bands, you can't see anything distracting. If you're hesitating between a 2K 170Hz screen and a 1080p +240Hz screen, I'd strongly advise you to play in 2K, even for competitive games. Comfort is more important and if you're a maniac like me and you see every pixel on your screen all the time, high resolution is essential. And then the difference between 170Hz and 240Hz is almost forgettable. I got this screen for £210 instead of £280: a bargain considering the quality. Now for one of the most annoying points: dead pixels. This is unfortunately a reality, especially for curved panels, but it's largely negligible. Why is that? Here's a calculation to show you that I never see them: 2560 x 1440 = 3?686?400 pixels including 10 dead pixels (not black, but still frozen) --> 2.713 x 10^-6 or 0.0002713 % dead pixels. Highly negligible, then, given the manufacturing errors. The curved screen was optional for me, but given the promotion I got, I didn't take that into account. It's a nice curvature, more aesthetic on the setup than really useful. There's a certain amount of immersion, but I'm not very sensitive to it. Finally, the foot is adjustable in angle but not in height. I'd recommend models with a height-adjustable stand, or even MSI's MAG collection.
Excellent screen, very good delivery and zero damage. I don't regret my purchase at all as it's a perfect screen for 1440p gaming.
Well-received screen, very good value for money (promotion), WQHD quality. The HDR system is top-notch for gaming.
Product received promptly well packaged, the screen is beautiful and does its job wonderfully well :]]]
I bought this screen to replace my old one, an MSI 24" 144hz with an IPS panel, and frankly I'm very happy with the product. I use it for gaming and office work, and it's pleasant in any situation.
The difference in comfort between a flat 24" and a curved 27" is quite striking. For gaming, it's more immersive, and for office work, a larger screen means you can separate tabs and therefore work faster.
I'd recommend it, especially at this price.
This curved screen is exactly what I was looking for. It has very low latency, a very good refresh rate, and a very nice QHD image. Make sure you activate overclocking in the screen settings to reach 170Hz and not stay at 60.
Exactly the screen I needed, and on special offer, so what more could I ask for? I had a problem with the order for personal reasons but ldlc customer service is super responsive and was able to resolve it quickly.
I would highly recommend
I decided to go from 1080p to 1440p with this screen, and well, I'm satisfied! A very good screen for not too much money, with a very pleasant frequency.
Very pleased!
Screen used mainly for gaming, very good value for money, very good definition and contrast, usable for office work, good visual comfort, menu with the possibility of adapting the screen to the desired use.
I'm delighted with this purchase, delivery on time, parcel delivered with care.
The screen took about 1 month to arrive, however, once I contacted LDLC, I received it the next day (I am in Switzerland)
I was able to test the screen, a real revival for my eyes, the curvature makes it look good, the colours are nice. I highly recommend the screen
I have been using this screen for 1 month in FPS / RPG games as well as in Word, Excel, Firefox mainly.
Negative points :
- the colours are not faithful, the shades change according to the chosen mode (FPS / RPG game mode, eco mode...) and the colour temperature is not great
- the settings can seem complicated (a small guide would have been welcome)
- there is no brightness sensor
- the height of the legs is not adjustable (the size is standard and should fit most desks)
- 170 Hz must be activated in the screen menu: Setting ==> OverCocking DP ON
- 0.7mm black borders around the image (top + both sides)
- the joystick is placed too high
Positive points :
- easy to navigate in the menu thanks to the joystick
- many modes are programmable (FPS / RPG / eco mode / office...)
curved screen improves immersion
- external power supply
- although the stand cannot be adjusted in height, it doesn't take up much space and the screen is quite stable
- adaptive-sync, good screen responsiveness
- anti blue light, anti glare, good contrast
- curved VA panel improves immersion and reduces eye strain
My opinion: It is a good quality screen, responsive that will allow you to play, watch a movie, browse the internet or work without any problem, but for people who need a faithful rendering of images for photo / video editing, I do not recommend it. And on this last point I am very disappointed, I was expecting to be amazed by the colours diffused by a VA panel.
The MSIDisplayKit software, which can be downloaded from the MSI website, allows you to make a few adjustments (splitting the screen, adding a visual keyboard, adjusting the colours).
