Perfect
Nothing to say very good product, especially for this budget.
I love the quality and the performance.
I recommend it for anyone who wants to get a setup that's not too expensive.Review automatically translated -

LDLC great, IIyama questionable
LDLC as always, impeccable service
As for the screen, the slab is very good, but it is served by a tiny foot not adjustable in height...
I've been using it for a while now, but I'm not sure how to use it.Review automatically translated -

The 165Hz display is defective after more than a year of use.
I decided to change my rating to 5/10 (I hesitate to put less).
More than a year after purchase, the bottom of the screen started to malfunction in 165Hz. (like this: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/sddgmh/weird_bug_on_my_monitor_happened_when_i_set_my/)
The other display options (from 50Hz to 144Hz) work fine.
After requesting a return under the 2 year manufacturer's warranty, I ended up with a screen that had the same problem (it was a refurbished). The iiyama technicians had not tested the 165Hz display...
I asked for another shipment and this time I received a new screen as there were no more refurbished screens in stock (lucky me).
I learned two things:
- The customer service at iiyama is very efficient (two screens delivered in 2 days, hats off).
- This screen, although quite correct in 144Hz, is initially designed (and sold) to be used in 165Hz. But this is a recurring fault with many users and shows that this model is defective and that in the long run you may end up with the same problem.
To conclude:
If you have already bought the screen and this happens to you, consider using the 2 year manufacturer's warranty, and make sure you ask what the reason was for the return of the refurbished screen that they will send you. There's no point in exchanging a screen if you're going to end up with the same defect...
However, if you are looking for a screen and you are not sure about this one, don't bother, there are plenty of other screens you can turn to.
A word of advice, avoid my mistake. I bought this screen when it came out...
Look for a screen that was released at least a year ago (or even two years ago). This will allow you to get a lot of feedback on the screen in question to know if the screen is reliable in the long term.Review automatically translated -

16 months later
I bought this monitor the 14 of December 2020.
For more than one year it worked great at 165Hz. Then this thing happened at the bottom of the screen: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/sddgmh/weird_bug_on_my_monitor_happened_when_i_set_my/
At any other refresh rates it works without any issue (from 50Hz to 144Hz).
Most of my games can't reach 165fps anyway, so it's okay for me to use 144Hz. But this monitor was build to be used at 165Hz in the first place, so I recommend you to look somewhere else.
If you already bought this monitor and have the same issue, don't forget to use your 2 year warranty's constructor if you still have time. -

After several exchanges, the screen is still defective
Screen purchased end of September 2021.
Two exchanges later (including one where I received a defective refurbished one), a number of emails and calls with Iiyama service, the 3rd screen is also defective; light leaks, and unbearable hissing (even when switched off!).
The screen has to be repaired, but only for the whistling, as the lights are "normal" according to the brand.
I don't recommend it at all.Review automatically translated -

Freesync and 165Hz not working properly
Disappointed, the FreeSync, once activated, the screen randomly turns off for 1 second in game, and the 165 Hz once activated, makes the image less sharp, more pixelated.
So I don't recommend this screen.Review automatically translated -

Good!
This screen meets my expectations. I'm using it on a gamer omen PC with RTX 2060 Super, especially for games with nice images . I'm very happy with this monitor.

Perfect
The screen is perfect, the right size to play neither too big nor too small, I received it quite quickly, I don't play big games yet but frankly the quality is great!

Absolutely perfect for 1920x1080 gaming.
If like me you want to find a good screen to go with your 10? generation GPU (GTX 1070 in my case) that still holds up well, you've come to the right place.
It's been 5 months now since it joined my setup and so far, nothing to report. The colours are sublime and going from 60 FPS to 165 FPS is really nice on some games (day and night on Warframe, for example).
But while I'm very happy with this screen, don't really expect great sound... The sound on my other iiyama screen (https://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00161282.html) although not incredible, is far superior in quality (and it is an older model).
If it was to have the same sound quality, iiyama would have been better off removing the speakers from this screen (either you put in speakers that hold up, or you don't, especially at this price). That's the reason for the 9/10.
If you have speakers or good headphones, the problem doesn't even arise.Review automatically translated
