Hello, after saving more than 2T of data on this external hard drive, a week ago it is impossible for me to open it to display my files! I've been using it for hours with the blue light flashing and making noises: clack-clack-clack!!!, it remains unknown by only being displayed briefly to disappear from the icon bar making it impossible to unplug the device properly. I need help to recover my data.

Well, first comment, I hope to give some useful information ^^
I already own a Toshiba Canvio Ready, so I knew what to expect from the brand: the hard drive is compact, fast, easy to use and above all the 4TB give peace of mind about storage. If I had one comment to make, and this is what costs it a star, it's that the photo is a bit misleading. It's not really red, it's more of a pink colour. It's not a disaster in itself, I took this one to differentiate it at first glance from my other hard drive which is black, but I would have preferred to see red rather than pink.

I bought this to replace two 1TB Toshiba hard drives that were getting very old, I am very happy with it.55MB average transfer rate in USB 3 which is ok.Toshiba customer for years, I never had any problem with their hard drives, which are really reliable.So I recommend this product with my eyes closed.
