delivered well, powers a multimedia PC.
it does the job, not for GDDR7 cards, all the others, no problem.
Power supply purchased to replace mine that failed. Works very well, relatively quiet. Perfect delivery.
After 2 years and 9 months of loyal service on an entry-level gamer config, the power supply fan is showing signs of weakness: difficulty starting up when the computer starts up (several start-up cycles, ramping up, then stopping) and whistling.
I got it about 2 years ago and I've had no problems with it. It's small, quiet and it's good enough for normal PCs.
I bought this power supply for office use on a rebuilt PC. Fulfilled my needs perfectly. This is not my first CORSAIR power supply and it won't be my last, I am very satisfied with the product. I would recommend
simple and discreet for a power supply, corresponding to expectations. the only small fault is that the cables look rather down-market, it may be a fault on my product, but compared to a Bequiet 1000... the quality is not the same visually.
It's enough for what I need. If I'd been more careful, I'd have taken a modular instead of having cables on standby.

that means it will burn the motherboard and also it will jam its visible of flat

The packaging was quite correct. The assembly is simple.
The price is also very interesting for the quality.
This CV550 power supply is perfect and works really well for powering a GEFORCE RTX 3060 graphics card that I had bought two weeks earlier.
But I advise you to invest in a modular power supply like Corsair RM550x V2 80PLUS Gold, ( or other ) because you will only plug the cables you need.
With the CV 550 I had to group two cables totally useless, however the technical service had directed me towards a modular power supply but I had not understood the utility of multiple cable ... and I was stopped only at the price (30Euro of month). I understood when I plugged the whole thing in and found myself with extra cables.
Received very quickly. Conforms to the order.

Installed to replace a 10 year old power supply. I was able to plug in my 4 disks and a burner. The machine is stable again, and quiet. The cables are in black sheaths, it's much less messy in the tower.
Used to refurbish a CM/CG assembly in a recovered box. Simple and effective! It didn't take much to do the job! Be careful though, there are a lot of cables to store in the box as it is not modular.
The equipment is just right for the job, delivered in perfect condition and on time. LDLC is once again a good advisor
It's been 8 months since I bought this PSU, and its fan starts to squeak oddly ....

I've never been disappointed with their power supplies, Corsair is my favourite brand for power supplies for my PCs.
I've been running my corsair AX 1200 gold version for 10 years and it doesn't flinch, it's been installed in my last pc with no worries.

I took this power supply for a change on an existing configuration.
The motherboard is 20 pin and this power supply is not 20 pin + 4 as on the picture and in the text, but 24 pin!

The main drawback was that I received the package 15 days after ordering instead of the 48 hours I expected.
The block, cables, connectors and even the packaging are of good quality and finish.
However, a technical documentation is missing (in French if possible), in particular to avoid making mistakes with the cables, even if engravings on the connectors limit the risk for "newbies".

I've been using it for a while now, but it's a great product, and it's a great replacement for an old PC that was in IDE. It's a great product, it doesn't heat up, it's very quiet, it's perfect.
The power supply does its job well. Some of the cables are a bit short, especially the one to the motherboard.
On the other hand, I'm a bit annoyed about one aspect. On some games that are quite demanding, there are some coil whine noises that come from the power supply. However, activating a frame limiter or vertical sync remedies the problem (and I don't really need more than 70FPS...)
In short, suitable but not perfect for those who want to exaggerate the performance.
This power supply is well made. The only negative side is my choice for a modular 0. That's a lot of unused cables but I still managed to hide them well. If you want a ventilated case I recommend a semi or full modulable, if not this one does the job very well!
I'm not an expert in power supplies, I bought this one for an upgrade of my pc and it runs my config without worries and leaves me a lot of margin (MSI B450 Tomahawk max, 1050ti, ryzen 3 2200g, 2x8gb vengeance lpx 3200mhz, 4 fans, 2ssd, 1 hdd)

Very easy to assemble, rather compact power supply used with a gtx 1030 and a ryzen 5 2600x no problem.
The cables are quite nice even if they are a bit stiff (a bit more complicated for the management cable if the case is thin) but the plugs hold very well.
In addition, the power supply is very quiet.

Product returned because it generates "coil whine" (rather unpleasant noise due to micro-vibrations) when a 3D application is launched.
