Mouse received on time! I was looking for a fairly precise mouse, both for working on software and for killing bad guys in games. The result: I work a bit faster on software and I kill bad guys with projectiles in the skull with greater ease! Once again, I'm completely satisfied with my purchase! Two points parenthesis closed.
It's heavier than the cheap mice, which suits me perfectly.
The extra buttons work directly on Xubuntu/Linux in Firefox: I was afraid I'd have to configure them by hand, but I didn't need to do anything to get scroll down/up, page next/previous.
Sensitivity adjustment is software-free, perfect.
this mouse is lightweight and ultra-precise - just incredible for the price - and it's good quality with a long enough cable.
Very good service, ordered on 01/02, I received it on 02/02, well packaged product everything is in very good condition!
A tough note, for this mouse that does the job, but that I consider justified despite everything.
First of all, the impression that Steelseries neglects, or even makes fun of its entry-level customers since the release of these excellent peripherals that were the 6gv2 keyboard and the first Sensei mouse.
Passing over the keyboards (I'd have plenty to say), I'll concentrate on the Sensei: first of all I was happy to find this mouse, for me the most ergonomic and pleasant to use that I know, with a new, more resistant coating, which was one of the main weaknesses of the old model. But then... what about the internal settings, so practical when on the move? What about the braided cable? the golden usb? the practical and neat packaging? the ten euros less than the original sensei cost me? All this ends up weighing a lot and is very expensive for the durable coating! (the optical sensor has also improved, but the old one was already very efficient...)
What a disappointment, finally, to see steelseries fail to design an ultimate mouse for a dubious commercial strategy. I don't have the space to make an exhaustive comparison, but I would advise left-handed users to buy the cheaper sensei 310, and for the others, the kone pro, which is more solid, better performing and much more polished, for the same price (as you rarely see the fragility of the clicks and wheels of steelseries mice mentioned in tests; I realised this with the Kone...)
I was fed up with my Razer Taipan mouse that jerked when I started up my bike. So I opted for a Sensei Ten on the advice of a lot of tech journalists. And I must say that I am not disappointed. Very good grip. I'm left-handed and so finding ambidextrous mice is always a pain.
The only downside is that being left-handed, you tend to press buttons 4 and 5 on the mouse. I deactivated them but it's a detail.
