I bought this processor for office use on a rebuilt PC. It more than meets my needs.
I've always boughtAMD and the RYZEN 5s are very powerful, I think you can play quite a few games with this model, it was perhaps a bit too much for office use but I'm very happy with it. I'd recommend

I bought this product because it's the last time I can update my little pc. It's a great replacement, open, install, close, reboot!
I was able to use this processor for two years without any problems, after that I wanted to buy a graphics card that was a bit more powerful than the AGP of this processor and it turns out that it only has eight lanes for the first PCI-e slot, so I had to replace it and get a processor that has sixteen lanes.
I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I'm sure it's a good idea... I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not.
The 4cores/8threads will never be overwhelmed even in video encoding.
The integrated graphics card is equivalent to a dedicated rx550 or gt1030 card. So e-sport games in FHD1080 yes, but the big greedy titles are played, maximum, in HD1600x900 normal quality (farcry5 at 31fps in these conditions).
WARNING! the ram is shared by windows between the cpu and the graphic chip VEGA11. Basically, 2GB are allocated to the gpu but win10 can go up to 5GB.
So take at least 2x4GB of ram for this cpu+gpu configuration (farcry5 uses +6GB total including 2.4GB of dedicated video memory).
When used for office work, including transcription of voice dictation, this processor does the job well. However, the noise of the fan is noticeable (I'm not saying noisy, but I was expecting a quieter operation).
Selected to equip the heart of my very young son's first PC Gamer, it's just perfect for his level 1 setup: without a PCI-E graphics card yet invested, he can already play Overwatch, Sea of Thieves and Destiny 2 with great fluidity and already good graphics.
I can't imagine the result with a graphics card, he has time, but the base is solid for his modest needs, young more interested in the gameplay in MJ than the rendering.
Its big advantage is that it is a CPU with a GPU, so no graphics card is required, which is a great advantage both in terms of cost and configuration simplification.
