This Brother DCP-L 2550DN Multifunction Laser Printer Scanner is a very good choice
The first sheet is printed very quickly after turning on the device, the print quality is top, the colour scanner is top. And the device takes up very little space.
The printer cable is not included, so if you don't already have one, consider buying one if you are connecting via USB. And if not, you can connect to a network too.

Easy to install. Double-sided printing, easy to use scanner. Good longevity (I have had mine for 4 years and have had no problems). I have bought a second one for my daughter and will be ordering another one for my office.
Does the job you'd expect from a monochrome laser printer. Double-sided printing is convenient.
The RJ45 connection is easy to make, which is the big advantage of this type of connection.
It's a pity that the scanner feeder doesn't do double-sided printing like the printer, but this feature would put this product in a different price range.
The network card does not work. Neither your service department nor Brother's have an explanation or solution....

The LDLC site is the only one that allowed me to choose exactly the options I wanted: laser printer, monochrome, scanner, photocopier, automatic duplex (but not fax).

When I received this product I was disappointed (I thought I had ordered a version with Wifi) but this model only has an RJ45 plug.
It's a very good product, once connected to the network it works perfectly.
The printing via airPrint is great. The Brother app for scanning from an iPhone works really well too and is super handy.
There is an option to automatically scan to a network folder (ftp), which can be interesting for paperless documents.
Nothing to complain about for the moment, but we'll see in the future.
I use it very simply, a few prints per month (invoices) and now a lot of scanning because of the simplicity of use.
This B/W laser multifunction printer works very well. The scan is colour. Too bad it doesn't scan double-sided automatically.
A fast printer, double-sided printing, a feeder for scanning, all for an affordable price, we love it. I've been using it for a while now, but it's a good idea to check it out and see if it's working. I recommend 100%, the Brother software is great too.
