Item delivered on time and in excellent condition. Very good sound reproduction in receiver mode.
BUT! In the manual, there is mention of a battery that must be charged before the first use.
BUT: after 7 hours of charging, the device only works when connected to a 5 volt power supply.
THEN: is there a battery?
Hence 2 stars less despite an OK operation, but on power supply!
I bought this device to connect a BT headset to my Samsung TV, Smart but not enough to accept such a headset.
This device is amazing. Not only does it work right out of the box, even the BT pairing is simple, but it also works very well. If I need the headphones, I turn on my headphones, and turn down the sound on the TV, too easy.
My headphones are connected to it in BT, and the device is connected to the TV with an OPTICAL SPDIF CABLE ALREADY SUPPLIED WITH THE DEVICE (no need to buy one separately, length about 1m).
Otherwise, the unit can be used either as a transmitter or a receiver. It accepts SPDIF, BT and jack/AUX (all three as input or output).

I have made many tests before obtaining the expected result. The user manual is ambiguous and lacks diagrams or examples of connections.
I was trying to transfer the sound from the headphone socket on my TV to my Bluetooth headset. So I powered the device as shown, using the supplied USB cable, directly from the TV's USB socket. Then I used a 3.5 stereo jack in/out cable (not supplied) to connect the TV's headphone output to the "3.5 AUX Audio In" on the device. I set the switch to "TX", then turned the unit on. I turned on my headset and started the pairing procedure. When the Bluetooth LED is solid, the pairing is complete. If the "Optical" mode LED lights up, you have to move the main slider to the right to switch to "AUX" mode...and get sound. The sound-image lag (latency) is very low if both devices are APT X compliant. The presence of optical inputs and outputs as well as the supply of an optical cable is very appreciable. This is a guarantee of quality, even if the device is small and made of plastic.

Tested in reception, connected to a MyDac DAC and in Bluetooth APTX with my phone: very good sound quality on FLAC files.
Immediate connection and pairing.
The device is tiny, it is even planned to fix it on something else via adhesive scratch.
A good buy, despite a somewhat high price.
Attention: no integrated power supply, you have to connect it to a USB (I use an old phone charger) -> one star less
Everything works as expected, just that it's not super-clear that the switch between digital and analogue output is done with the same button that activates the coupling mode, but the info is present (a bit hidden) in the manual.
I didn't expect this product to exist, but it does. It may seem a bit expensive but it is really practical. Connected optically to a box, it allows you to broadcast the sound on one (and even two!!) bluetooth speaker(s) and thus easily improve the mediocre sound of a TV but connected to your amp it will also allow you to enjoy on your old hifi installation (which is not bluetooth/wifi) a sound broadcast from your tablet or smartphone. It is also easy to use.
