- ASUS PRIME Z790-P
- Kingston FURY Beast RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR5 6000 MHz CL40
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 GAMING OC 12G (rev 2.0) (LHR)
- Kingston SSD NV2 1Tb
- be quiet! Pure Base 600 Window Orange
- be quiet! Dark Rock 5
- Seagate BarraCuda 2Tb (ST2000DM008
- be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 850W 80PLUS Gold
- PC mounting without system
- SATA cable (50 cm)
What a silent gamer tower.
You can buy it with your eyes closed.
Config done just a month ago, go for it ...
Magnificent case with a more than reasonable size, very good quality material and the added bonus of the tempered glass.
I would recommend
(Efficient and silent ventilation)
Multiple hard drive support.
Sober case with no fanfare.
Graphic use.
Not as heavy as I thought it would be (despite the weight of the components), the two built-in fans provided are very quiet and cool the machine quickly. The extra slots for additional fans are well thought out.
Be careful with the glass (as with all glass) and the screws could have been orange to remind a little extra touch as for the spaces inside.
The interior volume is more than respectable - knowing that a large Noctua fan has found its place!
The top cover that can be easily installed and removed is great.
In short, this is a very nice tower that is both simple and has character.
I recommend it - for gamers.
Very nice simple look, lots of shielded and flexible cables and clamps
glass side panel giving a view of all the internal equipment, superb result
large space for 500W power supplies.
So after a few times of use the case is very practical in spite of the big drops of sweat of fear when one removes the soaked glass
the rubber that allows the cables to pass through is easy to remove and put back on
the three positions for the speed of ventilation is very practical
I've been using it for a while now and it's very easy to use.
Bought the product and received it within 48 hours.
Packaging ok; Product conforms.
Everything is ok
As usual with LDLC --- RAS --- Very Pro
Medium tower case, functional and aesthetic.
Plenty of space and modularity for disk management
Quiet even at max speed (at min speed you can only hear the power supply!) - the basic ventilation is efficient even in hot weather!
I have to say that I'm very pleased with the quality of the product.
Very practical for gamer setups. Good opportunities for intelligent cable arrangements. Lots of space. Relatively good soundproofing.
Two drawbacks though:
1. The top cache very effectively reduces the noise caused by your cooling (all-in-one watercooling fan for CPU in my case), but fatally, also reduces the cooling capacity of the computer in a non-negligible way (the airflow being constrained by the cache). At full load of my CPU (Ryzen 7 3700x) and my GPU (NVIDIA RTX 2700x overclocked), the internal temperature of the tower peaks at 72-75°C without the cache and 80-85°C with the cache.
2. The glass is fragile! It is obvious that it must be handled with care, but even with care I managed to shatter it one day by dismantling it, simply by unintentionally stressing the screw holes, twisting the glass. Fortunately, it is possible to get a replacement on the internet.
The basic functionality of a case is to place computer components in a reliable and stable way.
This is the case, apart from the management of SSDs which cannot be removed at once, not very well done.
Another feature that came with the irons, sorry CPUs, is cooling.
For CPUs >=8 cores, it has to be well ventilated.
Unfortunately, if the case itself is good, the cooling is not optimal.
A rating of 0.82 °C/W while my old cooler master which is 8 years old is 0.62 °C/W.
In short, not expensive but not efficient either.
Disappointed by this brand that everyone praises.
Very nice case, easy to use.
Panels come apart nicely, motherboard installation is easy.
Supplied with BeQuiet fans, it is much quieter than my old case. The front panel fan adjustment is appreciated.
The only downside is that the front USB ports lack power, so I can't use SATA drives via an adapter on them.
Otherwise nothing to complain about :)
I've gone from a mini tower to a medium tower, I'm fully satisfied with it. The space, for the assembly, the installation of the hard disks is done at ease by as on my mini tower... The only downside is that if the glass breaks, it is no longer available as a spare part, at least not from LDLC, that is to say ....
Good communication with the LDLC service as usual even if I was a bit of a blonde on the assembly ;)
Concerning the case:
- The cable holes are extremely poorly located: my ATX motherboard and my 5"25 dvd player cover the main ones. (There are enough left to hide the cables at the back of the case).
- The motherboard fixing screws do not fix anything, because of their ridiculous size, but also because of the screw thread which is grinding in the void.
- WARNING: the maximum length of the graphic size is semi-mensonger: the "425mm maximum" is actually around 250 mm ... The 3 (removable) hard disk fixings reduce the possible size of the graphics card. My 285mm RTX 2080 Super would not fit. I had to remove a hard drive holder, reducing the storage capacity from 3 hard drives to 2.
- I had to remove a hard drive holder, reducing the storage capacity from 3 hard drives to 2. And finally: Relais colis which "loses" my package, so that I received all the components of my PC, except the case.
I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get a new one, but I'm sure I'll be able to get a new one in the next few days.
The only positive point of this box is that it is silent... fortunately, considering the price.
A wonderful cell, very well designed and very quiet, only good; I recommend it to those who want a quality tower.
Peatrick.
Relatively simple installation, top quality and finish.
Efficient air circulation with the possibility to adjust the speed of the integrated fans.
The only drawback is the mounting of the SSDs and the location of the SATA cable outlet, which is a bit tight.
I had an all aluminium cubitek tank. I chose this case to save space. I was able to install 3 SSDs, 1 SSD M2, a 4TO HDD, a gtx 1080 Ti without any problem.
I am happy with my purchase. I recommend it without hesitation. The glass window fits perfectly. I am air-cooling.
It comes with two fans and all the necessary hardware, this case is quite smart with a dark tinted tempered glass which adds to the LEDs I think (personal opinion) I love the concept for the disks, and for the cabling. I think this product is correct and flexible.
It's a perfect match for my expectations. It's sober and quiet, it's of good quality and the glass window is very large, which is perfect. I only regret that there is no mode to stop the fans.
All the components fit without any problem and I use both ssd compartments and the three HDDs.
Excellent case.
Well thought out case for its size, easy to store cables.
Easy to use HDD/SSD slot.
If you use a long graphics card, a HDD/SSD slot cannot be used.
However, there are still 4 slots available.
this case is well designed you can see the good quality and the set of parts.
The only downside was the installation of the AIO corsair h115i, a 280mm radiator is not easy to install, you will have to place it in front of the case vertically.
The hdd slots are clean and the SSS brackets are to be placed outside the cages and not inside the cages which can create confusion.
but otherwise the glass that takes all one side is simple to place and in case of breakage, you can easily change it since be quiet sells the glass as well as LDLC
Bought for a gaming oriented setup. Nice design and good materials (the little touch of orange is nice, the power button and the disk activity light are orange too). The components can be disassembled quite easily and the modularity is good. I had a doubt about the width, but the LDLC advisor gave me good information. So I was able to fit a Noctua NH U 14S cooling unit on an Asus motherboard. There is a 6 to 8 mm margin to the glass.
The cable management is easy, a small reproach on the two passages covered by the motherboard ATX format.
The case seems to be well ventilated, it is in any case silent. (you can change the speed of the fans)
Attention, there is a small error in the manual: the drawings of the screws for the motherboard and the SSDs are reversed (the big step is for the MC, the small one for the SSDs)
The original cable management also needs to be modified a bit, but nothing too serious.
I'm quite satisfied with this beautiful case.
Very stylish case, it is indeed a pleasure to unpack. The accessories are very well packed separately.
No difficulty to assemble if you follow the instructions. What I really like about this case is that it is clearly upgradeable. The cable routing is very well thought out. It's easy to hide everything so that watching your PC running is a real pleasure. (Moreover, a modular power supply avoids unnecessary cables). The removable parts are easy to remove like the front panel or the 3.5" racks. The cables supplied for the connections are of good quality. A nice touch is that the motherboard plate is open, which allows you to change the processor fan without having to dismantle it.) The power button lights up in orange, and the possibility of adjusting the speed (there are 3) of the fans is really a plus. At speed 1 they are barely audible. There is really good ventilation in this box. I'm a fan of Be Quiet! and having the brand's power supply and the CPU fan visible behind the glass is fun (but that's a detail ^^). I'm thinking of adding an LED inside for the tuning aspect of this case. If I could put 6 stars I would do it anyway!
Very happy with the case, ecstatic when I unpacked it because it is so beautiful.
It comes standard with the franchise fans, which are more than efficient, you can't hear them and they do their job.
Add to that a gaming oriented configuration, and two Shadow Wings Mid-Speed fans from the same brand and you are the happy owner of a well cooled and silent machine.
The SSDs are mounted on the back of the motherboard panel, which is not very clear (don't do as I did, the SSDs are not placed in the cage but on top).
