I bought this mouse for my laptop. It's plug and play, small but not too small, enough to fit in the bag without getting in the way and still have a good grip. The little extra, the click is not traditional and has a little noise that looks very high end.

The mouse is very quiet, very pleasant, and recognizes instantly under Ubuntu (and MacOs).
It would need to be bigger for my hand to fit it well, unfortunately this doesn't seem to exist yet at Logitech. It's easy to get used to, though, thankfully.
The mouse is effectively silent, plus it makes the clicks smooth. Good glide, well adapted to my small hand (7 - 7.5 in glove size).
The only problem is that the communication with the USB connector seems to be very poor.
The only flaw is that the communication with the USB connector seems to be capricious when I plug it into the back of the PC (my tower is under my desk). The cursor freezes for a few fractions of a second very frequently (every 1-2 minutes), which is very annoying. I have to leave the connector on a front plug of the tower, in this case no problem.
I'm very pleased with the quality of the product.

I've been using this mouse for a while now, but it's not as quiet as I'd like, at least not when clicking. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have a mouse that's as quiet as you'd expect, at least when you're clicking.
Certainly quieter than the Microsoft Surface Mobile.
The scroll wheel is a bit clunky, but it is quite quiet.
It doesn't come in laser technology.
I still miss the Nexus Silent Mouse SM-9000B, which was really quiet (in terms of clicking, but not in terms of the wheel) but had the flaw of having a wheel that was too slippery when used. It also had the function, not yet widespread among mouse manufacturers, of auto power off of the lens to save battery power without having to press a button or other on/off switch.
It's a pity that no manufacturer has yet managed to bring out a mouse for simple office use that combines all the best aspects (wireless, ergonomics/size, silence, laser, auto-off, design, simplicity of use, quality of materials and assemblies, sturdiness, durability, battery power consumption and autonomy, place of origin of construction and materials), even if it means paying more than the others...
As a replacement for a basic mouse, this mouse is very easy to handle (for a right-handed person) and is very pleasant to use.
I particularly like the silent click and the precise scroll wheel.
The dongle is not a unifying device and does not allow you to connect several Logitech devices with a single dongle. However, this mouse is compatible if you already have one (via the unifying software downloadable from the manufacturer's website).
It does exactly what it is designed to do, I have not had any problems, it is very quiet as expected, which is very nice. I have connected it to another logitech dongle with no problems.

It is impossible to return to the dongle supplied with the mouse.
Compact and lightweight mouse that responds very well on all the media I tested. A white background is not a problem either, unlike my previous mouse.
As for the keys, the clicks are very very discreet.

Distracted as I am, I sometimes go for up to oh, well over an hour without having any music playing in the background. Then suddenly I realise that this silence is terribly disturbed by those unbearable and "click-click-click-click" of cheap plastic.
So I order a silent mouse. How quiet, how comfortable.
On the other hand, now, I sometimes stay up to two hours without listening to music, since nothing disturbs the silence of the house.
The mouse is very light due to its weight, the sensor reacts well even on unsuitable supports, almost no "clicking" noise as announced! Believe me, after using a silent mouse like this one, you won't be able to stand hearing "CLICLIC CLICLICLIC" again, especially when playing.
I had already bought this model for another computer a year ago in a well known chain of shops starting with D, very badly arranged with incompetent salesmen.
In short, I'm very satisfied for the second time: almost inaudible (unlike the excellent Spirit of Gamer Xpert-K700 keyboard)
Slightly bigger than a classic mouse but less than some XXL models (I have average hands)
The "click" is very smooth: it's like velvet!
In addition, it is very economical in terms of batteries (see my first model)
It should be mandatory in open spaces!
