Nickel ??
Perfect for an emulation machine with a ryzen APU. Compact and yet spacious enough, but beware of the height of the Ventirad.

Very pleased with the quality of the product, serious metal.
The transformer makes no noise at all, which makes my home PC almost silent (which is why I changed my case, so I feel like saying "fortunately"). I used to have a small ADVANCE case that made too much noise and had shiny plastic that didn't look good. Now it looks great!
Be careful with the height of your CPU fan though. Mine is touching the grid of the side cover. I even had to force the side panel up a bit but I managed to close the case (a bit like when you go on holiday and you force the suitcase shut because it's too full) but with 2 mm less it fits without forcing. I have an Artic Freezer 11 LP fan.
The LED light is strong but very directional, so it's very discreet when it's not directly in the line of sight.
The only drawback is that the screw on the right cover (standing version) or on the bottom (laptop version) protrudes from the cover => I completely scratched my wooden living room furniture and the wooden kitchen table during assembly. Grrrr!!!!
In short, I think it's great but be careful not to scratch your furniture if you put it on the lid.
This case reveals a high quality of manufacture.
- There is no play in the panels, the aluminium parts are very solid, the grilles on the side and top allow for very good ventilation.
- The finish is outstanding, both inside and out. The aluminium part on which it is placed has two rubber pads that prevent any vibrations.
- Be careful with the arrangement of the cables, as there is not much room, but you can just about fit everything in.
- Also be careful with the choice of the ventirad because there is really very little height. I put in a Noctua NH-L9i which works very well and without noise.
No problem for the installation of the asrock B360.
The 150W power supply is sufficient and particularly quiet (I5 8400, 8GB M2 960 evo and Barracuda).
The contents of the case do not heat up, and the ventilation remains correct.
Good finish, good mechanics, interior access a little cramped but not preventing handling.
Very happy with this case.
The small size of this attractive, sober and functional HTPC makes it perfect for use in the living room. In this format, it is one of the few cases with integrated power supply. Cooling is easy thanks to the metal mesh on the left side, which partially opens the top. The horizontal position is possible but not interesting because nothing can be put on it. Be careful with the height of the fan and the installation of the cables serving the disks to be fixed on the right side.
The finish and quality of the box is outstanding.
I found the installation relatively simple and easy. Of course you have to organise the cables to keep it clean.
I would advise you to route the power cable of the HDDs on the other side of the case as well as the SATA cables, otherwise you will have to dismantle your motherboard again like me!
For those who are wondering if a large configuration can be considered, it is yes. I have in this case an i5 7600K (without OC), Noctua NH-L9i fan, 16GB ram, SSD M2 + 1 HDD. Everything runs perfectly. I was afraid of the power supply but even with the CPU at 100%, it's a gem.
A must buy with your eyes closed.
Mounted with a H97N-Wifi motherboard and the length of the cables is perfect, just enough to make a bend and wedge the whole thing into the front of the case so it doesn't interfere with the airflow (which doesn't go through there).
For those who are wondering if an original Intel fan can pass, the answer is YES! (Ref for an i7: E97378-001)
The precise specifications are as follows:
- Height from CPU moulding surface to side panel: 43mm Maximum
- Height from motherboard to side panel: 51mm Maximum
Otherwise the positive wire of the HDD led (+) is not green but yellow. (or maybe it's an inversion on my MB)
This is the only case with enough internal power for a CPU with "classic" TDP (80-90W) and it does the job very well, it's perfect!
This is one of the most compact cases, taking into account that the power supply is included and not external. The metal is well machined. There are two accessible SSD or HD 2"1/2 slots. The cables are routed through the main compartment before the motherboard is attached. A mini ITX card fits right in, fixed with 4 screws. Afterwards, take the time to discipline the power supply wires and other cables, to bind them with plastic ties to leave sufficient airflow for cooling. Be careful, you need a fairly flat ventirad. Once closed, the case is well ventilated, quite classy. It is perceived as a high-end case. You have to spend a little more time on the wiring, but it is worth it.
but ...
you have to go over it several times to figure out how to run the cables. These are sometimes excessively long like the USB facade or really too short the IEC sector. Creating real cable passages around the plate would not be a luxury.
With a bit of patience and dexterity, it is possible to do it.
5 stars for the finish and aesthetics.
3/2 stars less for the cables...
The case is very elegant with the brushed aluminium and very small, ideal on a desk. The ventilation is correct (pentium at 40 - 50°C with original ventirad). The mounting is not very easy though and there are few passages to the backplate. Furthermore, the 2.5" HDD slots are placed in such a way that you have to completely twist some of the cables, even though there was room for them. I also think it's a shame that the supplied power supply is not a standard size and could be replaced one day.
The finish of this case is really superb. There is no play, it is solid with a very good sober design.
I was looking for a case for a configuration intended mainly for office automation and photo processing (lightroom, photoshop). As it's the first time I'm trying to assemble a PC, I first looked at the "medium" tower cases, but they seemed a bit big for my needs.
So I turned to this little mini-ITX and I don't regret it. It is ideal if you don't need a graphics card or other extensions.
As far as the assembly is concerned, everything fits but it's a bit of a shoehorn... As a novice, I had to go over it several times before everything fit properly. Just a little hesitation in front of the connectors marked Power+ and Power- before understanding that it was indeed the power supply for the A/M LED... In any case, it works.
On the fan side, the Noctua NH-L9i fits in the box, which gives a well ventilated and discrete case.
I finally took the time to look into this case.
Everything is back to normal except for the A/M LED, but the HDD LED is working, so I'm leaving the case as is, not knowing if the fault is with the motherboard or the LED, so status quo.
Otherwise I find this case very elegant and inspiring.
The other point on which I have reservations is the cable management.
I don't know why the cables often seem so oversized that you might think they are meant to be connected somewhere outside the case, like the USB3 cable or the power supply, when you know that some of these slots are almost standard on the motherboards, it's a shame to go through all the trouble to fit them in to close the case.
Finally, the regulars of the assembly know that this criticism is not specific to this model.
In spite of these few criticisms I give it a good mark because it is possible to assemble a small, robust and elegant passive machine with this case.
Superb unexpected in terms of finishes and materials but ...
The cable management is not easy and I did not manage to exploit the LEDs A/M and DD and I stop there my comment because my assembly fell into failure yesterday (no more way to restart this little jewel) is it a false contact, the CM which failed or the power supply?... I do not know yet.
I reserve my answer and promise to keep you informed
I have just bought this case. It is really superb and will proudly sit on my desk!
The ventilation is so good that even with an i5-6500 and the original Intel fan, I can't hear anything at 1m.
The price is really interesting and much cheaper at LDLC than in other shops.
A few small drawbacks though:
- You have to be really careful to get all the cables inside.
- I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the same product as the one I've bought from LDLC, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the same product as the one I've bought from LDLC.
That's why I'm withdrawing 1 star...
