Impeccable delivery.
The WPS connection via the software proved to be catastrophically annoying for no apparent reason. I recommend downloading the software and driver from the Brother site rather than using the CDROM (which didn't find any updates available...) We still had to force the device by assigning it a static ip manually...
Otherwise it works very well and is functional on all workstations.
We took the time to send several text messages to get clarification and not to make a mistake and we ended up with a printer that did not meet our wishes. The delivery is fast and the customer service is attentive, but when it comes to returning the product... there is no one left...
The purchase and delivery were impeccable.
Easy to set up.
I am satisfied with its operation, since the end of January 2017.
It remains to be seen in the long term.
I hope that this laser printer will avoid the problems encountered with the cartridges of inkjet printers.
Very good printer, easy to install under windows and linux(ubuntu). The printer is very fast and much better than inkjets and much more economical, considering the price of cartridges on inkjets. Black and white only but not annoying. The pebble marking on the paper at the beginning, disappeared very quickly.
The printer is small and convenient to use on the desk. Very pleased with this product. It is very suitable for everyday printing. The printer is a bit noisy when printing but this is not a problem. The service is excellent as usual. I was very pleased with the quality of the product.
The printer is fast and gives good results, I had no problem installing it, one PC connected to USB and another to wifi via router
I have only had this printer for three weeks and it is difficult to give an opinion on its robustness, but for the moment I am very satisfied
Perfect for occasional use. The installation under Linux is relatively simple: installation of the driver and the CUPS wrapper to be downloaded from the Brother website (for Debian: sudo dpkg -i ...) and CUPS (localhost:631 in a browser) automatically detects the printer (you still have to choose the right driver).
In wifi the USB cable (not supplied) is not useful, even for the installation, if the wifi router supports the WPS protocol.
It's compact, it fits in a small cabinet, you just need to be able to pass the power cable through.
Thanks to Brother for its openness (Linux support) and to LDLC for its efficiency.
I'm fed up with (colour) cartridges that are always empty when I need to print. I have switched back to a laser to avoid this problem and both the installation and the use of the laser are working well for me at the moment. I have small needs and I think it will do the trick, especially considering the price.
