Bought for an MSi laptop whose rj45 port became inoperative for no reason. It is perfectly recognized and runs Linux Manjaro, nothing to say, has both status/traffic led.
The product is functional and corresponds well to the description. Note that a CD drive is required to install the driver. After that, everything is simple.
It works well but you have to fight a bit to install it, it doesn't recognise the standard drivers immediately, you have to go and find the installation program...
Just plug it in and it works, good speed, reliable over time. No problems to report;
I have a 13" PC/tablet convertible without an Ethernet card. Even though I have WiFi at home, it's a shame not to have Gigabit with my server, so I bought this little adapter.

Bought for a Rasp Pi 3, I needed a second network to use the Pi as a redistribution server... Recognized the first time, perfect !!!
Installed on a Sony Vaio Pro 13 running Win 8.1 x64 :
- Automatic driver installation terminates without installing the driver
- Manual installation of the driver fails (wrong version of Windows)
- I had to install the Win 7 driver for it to be taken into account!
- Then the network cable is not detected...
In short, it just doesn't work...
I received a motherboard with a non-functioning Ethernet cable slot, but by buying this adapter I can now access the Internet via a cable. I couldn't tell you if the connection is the same with this adapter as without.
It's a good little beast that troubleshoots well when you need a 2nd network card to plug in a switch. it does the job well and the one gigabyte per second feel good. i recommend it for anyone who needs networking via USB.
Fulfils its role perfectly on the HP X2 10-inch hybrid netbook. Allows you to get a wired internet connection without getting wifi in your head. Delivered quickly in DOM (more exactly in Reunion Island).

This one is no exception.
Beware, however, that you need to install the CD driver under Windows 10 because it does not recognize the hardware.
Otherwise, once installed, works very well.
Connection to the Ethernet network as with a standard RJ45 cable.

Works fine on Linux Debian Jessie, but you have to wait until the pc is booted for the adapter to be correctly detected under Debian.

It was installed on an ASUS transformer T102Ha in Windows 10.
I had to download the drivers from the D-Link website, and after that, it works perfectly.
