Installed with two 27" 16:9 screens side by side, the arms have all the flexibility needed for a precise installation, allowing a nice alignment, and all the strength to keep this precise configuration over time.Despite a regularly used sit-stand desk, the arms are well fixed and don't move, so you feel like you're in for years of good and loyal service.Just perfect then.
I had been eyeing the ergotron for several years, but the price was what made me hesitate. Then I took the plunge. Even if it's expensive, it allows me to place my two screens exactly to the millimetre, and it's an incredible comfort.
The best thing is to have some distance to enjoy it fully
I use it to mount a 22" portrait next to a 27".
A real no-fail:
- The installation is simple and the mount fits perfectly on the desk, even without a hole
- The screens do not move but are easy to move when needed.
- There is a certain flexibility in the assembly because you can do without the lower arms as in my case if you don't need too much extension.
I use the stand with two Iiyama 27" screens, it fits my screens perfectly. The height adjustment frees up a lot of space on the desk and allows you to adjust the height of the screens to your eyes.
The screens can easily be switched from horizontal to vertical mode, which is very useful for photo editing.
The arms adjust very smoothly. The cables run through the arms, but you need to have long enough cables, the ones on my Iiyama are too short. The kit is delivered with two systems of fixation for the desk, a clamp or a system with a hole.
I really hesitated because of the price but you get what you pay for! The quality is impeccable, you can feel the solidity, it will last a long time.
