When I asked about compatibility, the technical service referred me to a UTP connector (unshielded). LDLC technical service completely incompetent.
The removable part that slides into the rj45 connector is very practical for inserting the wires. In any case, I've had no problems whatsoever with two wired sockets.
Incompatible with the cat6 F/UTP cable which is the only one available on ldlc.
I learned for the occasion that the cables have diameters and that this connector is not compatible with the Awg23.
No report on this point on the site, the certainty that 90% of non-professionals who do not have the info will be fooled.
The wire guide is not compatible with my CAT6A 23AWG cable.
It should be described in the description because it makes the connector unusable.
I'm very disappointed with LDLC because I go through LDLC to benefit from their pre-selection and not to have this kind of surprise.
Works perfectly, easy to use with a crimping tool. I did get it wrong by reversing the A and B colour conventions.
I have installed a whole gigabit network with these plugs, some of them dozens of meters long and with PoE powered devices, and everything works perfectly.
The guides are a great advantage for the installation, they allow to check before crimping that the right cables will be on the right connectors!
Do its job. The connectors come with small tips for easy insertion which is very convenient. Once sealed, the connector works properly and without any problems.
They looked easy to use even from the comments I read before I bought them... but in the end I had to throw away a few of them to use them... and yet I don't miss the experience! In the end I reused my old non-metallic RJ45s.
The connectors look good at first glance. When I tried to use them, I was very surprised to find that they did not have any guides for my wires! In the end I had to throw everything away and take another model.
