Mix and record anywhere with studio power
The Zoom LiveTrak L6max is an ultra-compact digital mixer and multitrack recorder. It captures concerts, rehearsals, songwriting sessions and podcasts with studio-quality sound, both on stage and on the go. Designed for musicians, bands and acoustic duos, as well as podcasters and content creators, it combines mixing, 14-track recording and monitoring in a unit that fits in a bag. From the rehearsal room to the home studio, it covers every stage of music creation.
Studio-quality multitrack recording
The L6max combines 12 mixing channels : 4 mic/line combo inputs, 2 of which feature high impedance Hi-Z, and 8 line inputs. It records up to 14 tracks (12 individual tracks plus a stereo mix) in 48 kHz 32-bit float WAV, to microSD cards with a capacity of up to 2 To.
Channels 1 to 4 feature dual A/D converters, preserving pristine microphone signals even with extreme dynamics, while channels 5 to 8 have a -20 dB attenuation switch for handling powerful sources cleanly. Each channel features a 3-band EQ with variable mids, a compressor and built-in effects (reverb, delay, echo).
The AI Noise Reduction feature intelligently removes hum, hiss and background noise to preserve every detail of vocals and instruments. The high-contrast OLED screen makes it easy to navigate projects and settings.
Designed for the stage, studio and podcasting
With 2 independent headphone outputs and a secondary mix output, everyone can hear exactly what they need, on stage or in the booth. Unlimited track bouncing frees up tracks for layering new parts, without a computer. Connected via USB-C, the L6max becomes a multitrack audio interface for your workstation or sends a stereo stream to your smartphone, so you can create video content instantly.
The MIDI I/O, sound pads with MIDI sync, 2 AUX sends with pre/post-fader operation and 4 scene memories meet the needs of live electronic performances. The free L6 Editor app (Mac and Windows) lets you customize pads, effects and MIDI assignments.
Powered by 4 AA batteries (not included), via USB bus power or with a portable battery (not included), it goes wherever you do. A Eurorack adapter (not included) would even let you integrate it into a modular setup.
