Overview
Extend your stereo audio signal up to 500 metres, simply and without a power supply
Ideal for extending an analog audio connection over very long distances, the Lindy Cat.6 Analog Audio Extender RCA/Phono 500 m lets you transmit a 2-channel stereo audio signal over distances of up to 500 metres via a simple Cat.5e or Cat.6 network cable. A particularly practical solution for making use of existing network infrastructure and connecting an audio source to remote analog equipment.
Fully passive, this extender operates without an external power supply, greatly simplifying installation and reducing the number of cables and devices required. Its particularly compact design, combined with an integrated audio cable, allows it to be discreetly installed near the source and audio equipment.
Another useful advantage: the two units are interchangeable. Either unit can therefore be used as a transmitter or receiver, depending on the installation setup. The connectors combine male RCA/Phono connectors for audio connection and female RJ-45 ports for the network cable link. Compact, lightweight and designed to operate within a temperature range of 0 to 55 °C, this Lindy extender is a simple and flexible solution for long-distance analog audio installations.
