Extend your 4K60 HDMI signals up to 50 metres
Designed to transmit high-definition audiovisual content over long distances, the Lindy 4K60 & IR Cat.6 HDMI Extender lets you extend an 18 Gbit/s HDMI 2.0 signal up to 50 metres using a simple Cat.6 or Cat.7 network cable, while maintaining a resolution of up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz in 4:4:4 8-bit. Its support for HDR delivers richly coloured images with enhanced brightness and contrast, while its HDCP 2.2 compatibility makes it easy to stream protected 4K content from Blu-ray players, media players and streaming services, among other sources.
Particularly versatile, this extender features an HDMI Loop Out on the transmitter, allowing the source to be displayed simultaneously on a local screen and a remote screen. It also supports multichannel audio up to 7.1 Pass-through, including lossless Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD formats. Its 20 to 60 kHz IR Pass-through system also lets you remotely control the source equipment using a compatible infrared remote control.
Installation is also simplified thanks to PoC (Power over Cable) technology: in a point-to-point connection, power and data are transmitted over the network cable, so a single power supply is sufficient for both the transmitter and receiver. A DIP switch for EDID also lets you select the EDID of either screen to simplify configuration and optimise compatibility with HDMI screens and projectors. An ideal solution for audiovisual installations, presentation systems, entertainment spaces, home cinemas, digital signage and trade shows.
