A privacy filter to protect your on-screen data
The StarTech.com PRIVACY-SCREEN-22MB privacy filter is designed for professionals and IT departments handling sensitive data on 22-inch widescreen 16:10 displays. It limits the viewing angle to ±30° from the center of the screen to prevent prying eyes in open-plan offices, meeting rooms and shared spaces. TAA compliant, it provides simple and effective protection for exposed workstations.
In addition to protecting data, this filter reduces eye strain during long work sessions by reducing blue light by 40 to 51%. Its reversible finish offers two benefits: the matte anti-glare side eliminates distracting reflections under bright lighting, while the glossy side prioritizes image clarity and sharpness. The durable protective film also protects the screen from scratches, fingerprints and dust in everyday use.
Installation is easy for everyone: attach the filter directly to the screen using the supplied adhesive strips, or slide it into place using the included side tabs for removable installation. These flexible dual mounting options fit most screen bezels, and additional strips or tabs (MON-PRIVACY-SCREEN-K, sold separately) let you extend the filter's use over time.
