Outstanding scanning performance in a lightweight, rugged design
The Newland HR23 Dorada Corded (corded version) combines 1D and 2D barcode scanning with a particularly attractive entry-level price. Equipped with a 640 x 480 pixel CMOS sensor and Newland’s advanced decoding technology, it quickly captures high-density as well as damaged, wrinkled or distorted codes. Its modern, well-balanced housing weighs just 137 g, providing a comfortable grip and reducing fatigue during intensive use. Designed to support everyday operations over the long term, it features an IP52 protection rating and withstands drops from up to 1.5 m.
Smart technologies for greater productivity
The HR23 Dorada Corded puts Newland technology to work for smooth, versatile scanning. Its white LED illumination, red aimer and minimum resolution of 3 mil make it easy to capture a wide range of symbologies, including QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec, EAN, Code 128 and GS1 DataBar. GS1-compatible, it offers a 45° horizontal and 34° vertical field of view, as well as omnidirectional scanning with a 360° rotation angle. Newland’s exclusive EasySet software simplifies parameter configuration, device cloning, firmware updates and scanned data analysis. Several optional stands can also turn the handheld scanner into a hands-free solution, on a desk or wall, with precise adjustment of the scanning position and angle.
