The spectacle takes on a new dimension
Designed to reproduce spectacular effects, subtle dialogue and the most nuanced soundtracks with equal conviction, the Marantz Cinema 60DAB Serie 2 transforms films, music and video games into intensely immersive experiences. Its 7-channel discrete amplification delivers 100 W per channel into 8 ohms, while its 32-bit 8-channel next-generation DAC enhances signal clarity, resolution and dynamics. Dolby Atmos and DTS compatible, this 7.2-channel AV receiver creates an enveloping, precise and expressive soundstage, faithful to Marantz's iconic musicality. Its elegant, timeless front panel also allows it to blend naturally into a contemporary interior.
Controlled sound reproduction down to the finest nuances
The Cinema 60DAB Serie 2 benefits from the acoustic expertise of Marantz and meticulous tuning carried out by the brand's Sound Master. Its current-feedback topology, HDAM-SA2 amplification modules and discrete power stage promote balanced, detailed and dynamic reproduction. The Pure Direct mode preserves signal purity, while Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization, DTS Virtual and Dolby Surround technologies expand the possibilities for immersion. To precisely adapt the sound to the listening room, Audyssey MultEQ XT room correction is complemented by Audyssey Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume. The device can also be upgraded through support for Dirac Live available as an optional upgrade.
8K picture and optimized gaming fluidity
Designed for today's audiovisual sources, this AV receiver features six inputs and two HDMI outputs, including three inputs compatible with 8K/60 Hz and 4K/120 Hz signals up to 40 Gbit/s. It supports eARC, HDCP 2.3 and the main HDR formats: HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Vision and Dynamic HDR. Upscaling 1080p and 4K content to 8K also enhances lower-resolution sources. Gamers benefit from dedicated features such as ’ALLM, VRR, Quick Frame Transport and AMD FreeSync compatibility on HDMI inputs 4 to 6, for a smoother, more responsive and spectacular experience.
Built-in HEOS: all your music, throughout your home
Thanks to built-in HEOS, the Cinema 60DAB Serie 2 becomes the hub of a connected, multiroom music ecosystem. It lets you search for and stream tracks from numerous platforms, including Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Amazon Music HD, Deezer and TuneIn, then control multiple compatible rooms from the HEOS app. High-resolution playback supports FLAC, WAV and ALAC files up to 24-bit/192 kHz, as well as 2.8 and 5.6 MHz DSD, with gapless playback for compatible formats. AirPlay 2, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with headphone retransmission, Ethernet and Roon Ready certification complete an especially rich connectivity package, controllable from the HEOS and Marantz AVR Remote apps.
