3 Battery life claims depend on cellular network, location, signal strength, feature configuration, usage and many other factors; actual performance may vary. Batteries have a limited number of charge cycles. They may eventually need to be replaced. Battery life and charge cycles vary by use and settings. Battery tests are conducted using specific iPhone units. For more information, visit apple.com/fr/batteries and apple.com/fr/iphone/compare.
4 Testing conducted by Apple in July 2026 using preproduction iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max units with pre-release software, and Apple USB C Charge Cables or MagSafe Chargers (1-metre model A3502 and 2-metre model A3503), paired with Apple 40 W Dynamic Power Adapters with a maximum power output of 60 W (model A3351). Fast wired charging supported with the 60 W USB C Cable and USB PD 3.1 (or later) power adapters with adjustable voltage output. Fast-charge testing conducted with depleted iPhone units. Time measured from the appearance of the Apple logo when the device starts up. Charging time varies with the adapter used, settings, usage and environmental factors. Actual results may vary.

    Disappointment

This new phone seems to take matters into its own hands (e.g. managing alarms). As if an ordinary user like me were a novice when it comes to smartphones... Artificial intelligence is rather surprising, with a strong tendency to take charge.
It is very difficult to reconnect it to hearing aids and the corresponding relay devices (TV in particular).
On this occasion, Apple is pushing hard to sell extra cloud storage, saying there isn't enough memory for the backup, even though it doesn't suggest removing the backup of the previous smartphone...
The only impressive thing is the battery life, nearly 48h.

    Happiness

As with every new iPhone order, waiting for it makes me regret not being able to explore it right away and see the new features. But rest assured, I don’t discover them all at once. At my age, it takes me a little while to get to grips with them and use them, and that’s what gives me this feeling of happiness afterwards.
