Need to adapt compared to the old one which was starting to show its age (15 years)
Quality of the screen due to its size and the quality of the colors
You have to be able to afford the price, but when you've been hooked on the brand for 20 years it's hard to switch to something else. After a few small confusions, that's it, I'm having a blast. Thank you.
A very high-quality computer, and a beautiful object. The minimum configuration is more than adequate.
This new computer is really good and is a big change from my old mac which dated from 2013, but was still working very well.
Speed and efficiency are the first things I can note.
On the other hand, only 2 usb c ports, no SSD reader, my old DVD drive ( HP ) is not recognized and therefore unusable, likewise my hi fi system (Bose companion 50) is not recognized either.
Finally, the person at Chateau Farine who answers the phone is of no use whatsoever and tends to treat customers as if they were uncultured; one gets the impression that only the sale of a device interests them. Once the purchase is made, no more help, not even minimal...
( youthful defects ???) Too bad. Fortunately, there are other staff members who are more efficient and answer you clearly and with empathy in an attempt to help customers.
Overall, no regrets after this purchase. I would still have liked to use my system, the sound of this imac not being great...

For 17 years, since I chose Apple, I am still satisfied with this latest model.
However, I note that Apple is lowering the bar on this model regarding connectivity. Only 2 usb-c.
