A large-format 5G smartphone for multimedia and photography
The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro is a 5G smartphone designed for versatile use, combining entertainment, communication and content creation. It is aimed at users looking for a large, smooth display, a recent mobile platform and a comprehensive camera setup. With its AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and trio of rear sensors, it brings together solid fundamentals for everyday use, mobile gaming and photography.
A smooth 6.83" large display
The smartphone is built around a 6.83-inch flexible LTPS AMOLED display with a definition of 1260 x 2800 pixels and a density of 440 ppi. It supports a 10-bit display and an adaptive refresh rate of 30 to 144 Hz, with touch sampling up to 2500 Hz in gaming mode. The stated peak brightness reaches 5000 nits, with 1600 nits outdoors.
Powering it, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 built on 4 nm relies on an 8-core architecture up to 2.8 GHz and a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU. Depending on the version, it is paired with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 3.1 storage.
A versatile camera module
The rear camera module brings together three complementary sensors. The main 50 MP Sony LYT-700C sensor opens at f/1.88 and benefits from OIS & EIS stabilisation with PDAF 2x2 OCL autofocus. It is complemented by a periscope telephoto 50 MP Samsung JN5 sensor opening at f/2.88, with x3.5 optical zoom, x7 lossless zoom and x140 ultra zoom. An 8 MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle with a 120° field of view expands framing possibilities.
On the front, the 32 MP sensor handles selfies and video. Recording goes up to 4K at 30 FPS, with TrueLens Engine 4.0, Ultra XDR, Night Mode, Macro Mode and Motion Capture features.
