A recorder that adapts to your needs
The Zoom H8 recorder adapts to your needs with three dedicated modes for music, field recording, or podcasting. With eight channels and interchangeable microphones, this model will meet your needs every time! It comes here in a Limited Edition pack (H8 + MS Pack). This pack includes two XYH-6 and MSH-6 capsule microphones, both in silver for even more exclusivity and elegance.
Touchscreen interface, 3 modes available
From the Zoom H8's touchscreen, you can select one of three modes to suit your needs: podcast, music or field. In podcast mode, take advantage of Sound Pads to personalise your broadcasts by finding pre-installed sounds or adding your own from an SD card.
Music mode is practical and powerful for recording a band, offering the ability to mix, layer and enhance the sound. Finally, field mode is ideal for outdoor sound recording, conferences or any other environment. Find level indicators for each track, adjust the input type, low-cut filter, compression or even the limiter.
Interchangeable microphones
With its interchangeable capsule system, the Zoom H8 recorder offers you extended functionality. Included with your H8 is the XYH-6 X/Y microphone for stereo capture using adjustable unidirectional microphones (90 or 120°).
Other microphones (optional) are available to further increase the potential of your recorder. Easily enhance your recordings with built-in effects. These include compression, equalisation and limiting controls, as well as a low-cut filter and tuner mode.
Professional performance
This Zoom model is capable of recording in both WAV and MP3 formats up to 24-bit/96 kHz and offers automatic time stamping for optimal use in post-production (compatible with BWF format). The Zoom H8 has 4 XLR inputs with attenuation switch and gain control and 2 mixed XLR/Jack sockets with Hi-Z selectors. The latter allow you to connect an instrument or microphone.
There is also a line output and a 3.5 mm headphone jack for monitoring. In addition, a USB port allows for fast file transfer, firmware updates and use as a 12-input/2-output audio interface for computers.
