Overview

A keyboard & mouse tray

The OPLITE R8 Keyboard & Mouse Tray is an accessory designed for demanding PC gamers who want to keep their keyboard and mouse within easy reach, without compromising on comfort or organisation. Designed to complement your R8 Fury or GTR S8 setup, it offers an excellent balance between functionality, adjustability and sturdiness.

Each tray is independent: one for the keyboard, one for the mouse, both fitted with a high-density, easily washable mat. It is assembled using multi-directional ball-and-socket joints and universal clamps adapted to Ø 35 mm tubes, allowing highly flexible adjustments to suit your positioning preferences.

Made from E355 steel with Ø35 mm connecting tubes and a thickness of 2 mm, this tray combines robustness and durability. Compatible with cockpits using 35 mm tubes, it also fits the GT3 SUPERFAST V2, to integrate perfectly into the OPLITE ecosystem.

If only I could give 0 stars...

I received it for Christmas, which was great because it was exactly what I wanted. I assumed it would be of the same quality as their chassis, but I quickly became disillusioned.
I feel like I've wasted £80 of the person who gave it to me. Assembly isn't very easy, but that's not really a problem. If you take your time, it's fine. The real problem is that you can't adjust it properly to your frame because there isn't really much movement for adjustment. So you have to choose between a non-ergonomic setting or an ergonomic setting that gets in the way while riding. The tubes are far too small. Honestly, Oplite is mocking people by selling this kind of product. It's a disgrace. I'm extremely disappointed and do not recommend this product. On the contrary, run away, you poor fool!
The icing on the cake is that there's a high risk of scratching the frame during installation. OPLITE, you need to do something about this!

    Disappointing

Assembly is a nightmare, the screws supplied are an absolute pain to tighten (for no reason whatsoever?!) and the tools supplied are not suitable for easy assembly! If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't, because I can't fix them properly, so the keyboard and mouse won't fit. I have mixed feelings about this purchase.
