The R-N1000A 's technology is directly inspired by the iconic HiFi concept ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology). This faithfully respects the integrity of sound by combining a rigorously symmetrical left/right circuit with direct signal routing. In addition, the special high-rigidity Art Base resin chassis absorbs and blocks unnecessary vibrations. As a result, the purity and dynamism of the sound are preserved. It's a sound that only Yamaha can produce, because it's the only audio brand in the world that manages everything from the creation of the sound to the moment it reaches the human ear. All you have to do is close your eyes and listen to the artist playing right in front of you, to really get the feeling.
The R-N1000A not only has an FM tuner , but also a DAB/DAB+ tuner for digital audio broadcasting, giving you a vast choice of radio stations with great audio quality. Up to 40 DAB/DAB+ stations can be recorded.
The best calibration technique
Whatever the type of audio, environmental factors play an important role in the sound signature of a room. Yamaha's YPAO automatic calibration technique, perfected over decades of use in home theatre products, has been optimised for the R-N800A.e for the R-N800A to provide the ideal listening environment, as if you were in a professional listening room, without the need for time-consuming manual adjustments. YPAO features an exceptionally accurate equaliser, with audio resolution up to 192 kHz/64-bit. YPAO's R.S.C. (Reflection Sound Control) works in tandem to actively control important reflection sounds upstream, automatically adjusting and optimising the way sound is heard in your room, based on wall materials and speaker placement. As a result, you can enjoy deep Hi-Fi sound and a uniquely immersive experience, right from your living room.
The R-N1000A features the renowned Sabre ES9080Q 384 kHz / 32-bit DAC (from ESS Technology) to deliver superior signal-to-noise performance. Rather than simply reproducing a powerful sound, Yamaha is looking for a dynamism that expresses the contrast between the stillness and movement of the music, making you feel the intensely deep emotions of the music and immersing you in this musical world.

MusicCast
The R-N1000A is equipped with Yamaha's original MusicCast network system. What's more, it's compatible with many streaming services such as Amazon Music HD and Spotify, so you can enjoy the exceptional sound quality and total fidelity that's unique to today's high-resolution, lossless audio sources. You can also use it to stream music from Apple Music, using AirPlay 2.
