Easily recharge your Apple device
With the MagSafe charger, wireless charging is a breeze. Perfectly aligned magnets attach to compatible iPhone models. The MagSafe charger provides faster wireless charging at up to 25W when combined with a 30W mains adapter. As the MagSafe charger is certified for Qi and Qi2.2 charging, you can use it to wirelessly charge your iPhone 8 (or later) and AirPods models with a wireless charging case.
Only iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, iPhone 15, iPhone 16 models, iPhone 17 models and iPhone Air offer magnetic alignment.
Recommended:
- For faster wireless charging up to 25W - up to 50% in around 30 minutes for iPhone 16, iPhone 17 and iPhone Air models combined with the 30W USB-C Power Adapter (sold separately)**.
- For fast wireless charging of up to 15W on iPhone 12 (or later) with MagSafe, in combination with the 20W USB-C Power Adapter (sold separately)**.
- For up to 7.5W wireless charging of iPhone 8 (or later) with Qi, in conjunction with the 20W USB-C Power Adapter (sold separately)**.

**Tests conducted by Apple in July 2025 on prototype iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max with software pre-releases, and with USB-C charging cables combined with Apple 40W Dynamic AC Adapters with maximum power of 60W (modèA3351), as well as Apple MagSafe chargers (1-metre model A3502 and 2-metre model A3503) paired with Apple 30W USB-C Power Adapters (model A2164) and Apple 40W Dynamic Power Adapters with up to 60W (model A3351). Fast charge tests carried out on discharged iPhones. Time calculated from the appearance of the Apple logo when the device starts up. Charging time will vary depending on adapter, settings, usage and environmental factors. Actual results may vary.
