The best in entertainment
With its 4K Ultra HD resolution, the BenQ W5850 DLP projector offers an intense and immersive experience! With four times the resolution of Full HD, you'll enjoy a detailed and accurate image.
This model features a Filmmaker mode that preserves the fluidity of movement, cinematic colours, dynamic range and brightness that filmmakers have imagined for the big screen. This BenQ projector is designed to meet the needs of filmmakers.
Theadvanced LCE (Local Contrast Enhancer)algorithm divides images into more than 1,000 zones, analyses the brightness of each segment and adjusts the gamma of each zone separately for better definition of dark and bright details and greater image depth.
Incredible intensity
Enjoy all the emotions of your Ultra HD content with HDR-PRO technology. The new HDR10+ technology adds dynamic metadata to HDR10 source files, making it possible to adjust and optimise each frame of HDR video and improve detail in the light and dark areas of the content. This projector with HDR-PRO technology will give you excellent brightness, superior contrast and improved image optimisation.
To give you the impression of being at the cinema, the W5850 incorporates the Dynamic Black function, which analyses the brightness level of each scene to optimise the light emitted and contrast. You'll also be able to see every detail, even in the darkest areas, thanks to a balance between saturation and richness of colour.
Realistic colours
The BenQ W5850 Home Cinema projector covers 100% of the DCI-P3 and Rec.709 colour spaces, ensuring accurate colours and a perfect reproduction of the director's vision.
Installing this projector in your living room will be child's play thanks to its short focal length, Vertical Lens Shift, powerful 1.6x zoom and automatic vertical keystone correction. The BenQ W5850 also offers full connectivity with 2 HDMI 2.0b ports and 1 USB 2.0 port for easy display of content from a USB stick or external hard drive.
The W5850 is ISFccc certified. The renowned ISFccc calibration allows you to customise the image and colour performance for each space, and offers preset day/night light balancing modes.
Complete experience with silent operation
While picture is important, sound also takes centre stage. This BenQ projector features an SPDIF port and aneARC port for 7.1-channel audio and Dolby Atmos, delivering full-resolution original audio signals to your audio system via a single HDMI cable.
The W5850 is equipped with a silent multi-channel cooling system that effectively reduces ambient noise levels to a range of just 27-30dB.The elegantly patterned rear-tilted lens ring prevents stray light and eliminates light leakage from the optical engine.Vertical ventilation grilles evacuate dust from the cooling system.
