The Trackball Semi Vertical Mouse is a hybrid mouse that belongs to the family of trackballs with a trackball, while at the same time borrowing the codes and shape of a semi-vertical mouse. It has a right click, a left click, a scroll wheel and buttons. It also features a 15° pronation angle to reduce tension in the carpal tunnel, a source of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs).
The Trackball Semi Vertical Mouse will be perfect for precision tasks and confined workspaces, but will also be suitable for people with varying degrees of hand sensitivity who want to reduce and optimise their movements. This applies in particular to people who are unable to move their hand on the work surface, but also to people with disabilities (reduced hand mobility).
A range of possibilities
The Trackball Semi Vertical Mouse is a wireless mouse offering a wide range of connections via USB 2.4 GHz receiver and Bluetooth BT1/BT2 to connect the mouse to a wide range of devices. Its hybrid design combines the benefits of a semi-vertical mouse with those of a trackball. The trackball is integrated into the thumb, controlling the movement and direction of the cursor. Like all trackballs, it does not move on the work surface and remains immobile and stable: an ideal tool for confined workspaces!
The hand remains rested on the mouse throughout its use, and any adjustment movements required for cursor control and direction are concentrated in the thumb. In this way, hand movements and forearm and wrist strains are reduced to a strict minimum. Thumb movements are the only ones that operate the trackball, concentrating and optimising them in a small area.
The Trackball Semi Vertical Mouse has been designed to bring the precision, control and sensitivity of the pointer as close as possible to the user, at the tip of the thumb, while leaving the hand resting on the mouse, immobile and stable. This key layout leads to shorter distances between buttons and minimises finger muscle tension.
