Very good and yet
Received and assembled today. Well-protected product, easy to fit, apart from the fact that the plastic casing supports that cover the backrest pivot are very fragile.
Simply lifting the seat by the casing to turn it over was enough to break the little plastic rod that clips onto the seat body (lower part).
There was also a manufacturing defect on the plastic rod of a housing on the other side. Perhaps I was unlucky, but for this price I would have expected better quality materials for the small plastic parts: a metal housing, or simply a better design, would have been not only much more reliable but also more 'commercial' on the part of the manufacturer.
This doesn't make the chair ugly, just a disappointing detail for the price.
That said, the structure of the seat is robust and the body has been well finished.
The upholstery is pleasant, as is the seat, and the backrest pivot lever is robust and practical.
On the other hand, I don't have much confidence in the plastic of the armrests in terms of solidity, and they have a little play between the parts: the armrests are fixed... but not quite!
On the other hand, the seat recline system may need a little checking: the lever operates, but the desired effect is not felt!
It's probably a problem of adjusting the hardness of the spring placed on the seat support system; this is achieved by a large plastic knob surrounding it, and its grip doesn't inspire much confidence... a question to be examined later.
On the plus side: it's comfortable, good-looking, sits well, the upholstery is pleasant and seems robust.
