The Nd3 is a new-generation MM moving neodymium magnet cartridge developed by Rega. Each Nd3 cell is meticulously handcrafted by Rega's highly skilled technicians. Their design uses a completely new geometry with perfect symmetry to achieve precise channel balance. The Nd3 also features optimised pole spacing for superior linearity and crosstalk characteristics, providing a much wider soundstage than previous models. This new cell is created with miniaturised parallel coils that are wound internally using 38 micron wire with just 1,275 turns. This produces a low-inductance, low-impedance generator with greatly improved high-frequency response. It will work perfectly with a Rega Planar 2 turntable. You can also mount it on any Rega arm as well as arms from other manufacturers.
