With the Thrustmaster TH8S Shifter Add-On, there's no need for superfluous action. The 8-position H-shaped gate (7+1) enables direct engagement of the 7 gears and reverse gear to suit all types of games and vehicles. Easily double the number of gears to drive HGVs with up to 14 gears. What's more, with its 4 cm metal lever, this 'short' gearbox promotes responsiveness for smooth, precise gear changes. The ergonomic 'Sport-type' gear knob is easy to grip, so you can stay in control in any situation, even off-road!

At this price, you obviously can't expect miracles. It's made entirely of plastic and feels more like a toy than a real gear lever. But for those who want to have fun with a manual gearbox on their favourite simulation, it's an excellent purchase. The dual connectivity (for connection to a Thrustmaster base or via USB-C) means you can look to the future with confidence. Perhaps the 7th gear wasn't necessary after all...
I think my gearbox is really excellent for the price, it's really good. The gear changes on Assetto are excellent, and on ETS 2 too. I still need to test it with City Car Driving.
I don't regret my purchase.
