The Homematic IP connected motion detector is designed for indoor use, combining discretion and efficiency. Thanks to its compact housing and versatile mounting options (wall, ceiling, corner or stand), it fits easily into any space. It detects movement and measures ambient light via a built-in twilight sensor, making it ideal for automating lighting, triggering alarms or optimising your home automation system.
With a detection range of up to 12 metres and an angle of 105°, this detector covers an optimal area. It is compatible with the Homematic IP app, the CCU2/CCU3 control centre or third-party solutions, and sends alerts in the event of attempted tampering. Battery-powered (2 x 1.5 V LR6/AA), it offers a battery life of approximately 3 years and a radio range of 280 metres in open space, ensuring optimum reliability.
