Using a new generation of control algorithms, the Osmo MobileSE performs real-time compensation based on the attitude of the camera body, reducing camera shake for incredibly smooth images.In addition, it features a small, high-torque brushless motor that allows the pod to compensate for even the smallest movements, even with large or heavy smartphones.
Whether it's the winning goal or a baby's first steps, the Osmo Mobile SE is ready. Just attach your smartphone, snap it onto the cradle and start taking pictures. The cradle and magnetic smartphone strap can be separated, allowing you to snap your smartphone on and off to call your friends.
Easily check the battery level, system status indicator and switch between pod modes with the new integrated status panel. Press the M button to navigate between the 4 available modes, to suit your shooting needs or to add a creative touch. In Tracking mode, the camera view follows the pan and tilt movements of the pod and remains stable during rolls. This mode is ideal for shooting up, down and diagonally. The camera view only follows the pan and tilt of the basket and remains stable during tilts and rolls, which is ideal for horizontal shooting or moving around a subject. Finally, in FPV mode, the three axes of the pod follow the movement of the main body. This is great for dynamically shooting still subjects such as monuments, buildings or statues.
The Quick Roll function makes it easy to switch between horizontal format for longer videos and vertical format for shorter content. Whether you're standing still or moving, in portrait or landscape mode, you'll have the flexibility you need to bring your ideas to life
Distort time and space with Timelapse, Motionlapse and Hyperlapse. With simple Motionlapse templates, you can mix beautiful moments into impressive clips. Use DynamicZoom in and DynamicZoom out modes to achieve visual stretching and compression effects to create dynamic blockbuster shots with your smartphone. Breathtaking landscapes don't have to be shot over and over. The Panorama feature is there to capture the entire view in one camera pass. Stuck at home? Use the CloneMe Pano feature to take pictures of yourself in multiple locations at once.
Finally, ActiveTrack 5.0 is fully upgraded for more stable tracking over longer distances. The upgraded version allows the front camera to track subjects who are stepping aside or twirling around.

Greetings,
I'm not very good at leaving reviews, so I'm going to skip ahead.
I tested this stabiliser in different ways, with my smartphone and my sports camera (with smartphone support).
You can still feel a very slight up and down movement, if I don't use digital stabilisation from my cameras.
But apart from that, everything's fine, except. The Osmo software for subject tracking doesn't work at all on my Samsung S8.
