The card is really good, graphics quality and speed are top notch, aesthetically very well done, super quiet for the beast that it is, doesn't get too hot for a while but still ends up getting hot after a while. Thermal pads don't need to be changed at least not at the moment. The quality of these original pads seems to be ok unlike other gpu's. The memory is gddr6x so be careful because not gddr6 so overheats faster and ends up being less stable than gddr6. High power consumption it's a shame it doesn't consume 25 to 30 watts less anyway. Performance at the rendezvous!
I'll start with the "minuses" to stay on a positive note at the end of my comment:
- For twice the price of a 3080, the performance difference is too small. I estimate the value of this card at the same price as a 2080ti, that is 1200-1300€ max
- I'm taking 1 star off for a 0db system that doesn't work properly, and at 1750€ the card has to be flawless! I'm not sure if it's a good idea to update the bios of the most powerful card in the catalogue, but it's taking a long time to do so. Even with the screen off, the fans turn on and off every 2 minutes because they don't depend on the temperature, but on the power consumption of the card, so it's impossible to adjust them yourself. The problem has been solved by Asus for months on their cards.
