The Gryphon 4500 family represents Datalogic's top of the line handheld readers for all applications. Designed to meet users' needs, the Gryphon GD4500 features an exceptional design, unrivalled ergonomics and the most advanced megapixel sensor with 2D white light technology for unmatched reading performance.
Simple to use and deployIdeal for manual or presentation scanning, the Gryphon GD4500 features Motionix technology that detects the operator's movements, and switches to the desired mode automatically. This technology works with or without the stand, offering more operational choices. The viewfinder and sensor can be programmed to the user's preference. This reader features white light reading technology that is easily visible yet comfortable for the operator. Its 4-point aiming system clearly delimits the reading area and avoids the risk of "accidental" scans. The crosshair in the centre of the viewfinder makes it easy to read code boards or price lists. The Gryphon GD4500 reader provides unrivalled scanning aggressiveness on the most commonly used 1D and 2D codes , as well as on postal codes, stacked codes and composite codes such as PDF417. High Density (HD) models are available for reading smaller codes. A dedicated version with a red light beam is capable of reading Digital Watermarking codes. The Imager is also ideal for mobile ticketing or marketing applications, as it reads codes on smartphone screens. With improved motion tolerance, codes placed on fast moving objects can be read easily
