I wanted a simple little light in my tower without any bling. Perfect for seeing inside if everything's going well, otherwise you can't see much. I always play in the dark! Connected directly to the molex power supply, so in this case you get a nice blue light by default, which is what I was looking for. Otherwise, I suppose you have to connect it to the motherboard to manage the colours with the appropriate RGB management software (something I haven't tested, as it's not useful).
I've installed 2: one on the front, and the other at the top of the case. You can cut them off if they're too long (be careful! there's a very precise mark where to cut them off), I did it for one, no problem.
