impossible to read CDs or DVDs with files in the usual and common format of photos (.jpg) or videos (.mp4). I sent a request concerning this problem on 31/03/2024.
PS Contrary to what is noted, I have not returned the device.

The player is very satisfactory. Of course, it plays all kinds of CDs/DVDs, and the HDMI connection allows you to use any computer screen (or video projector) as a TV monitor.
The downside is the remote control, which is disappointing for Sony equipment: it feels unpleasant in the hand and is heavy due to the size of the batteries. Moreover, the keyboard is not practical: tight, small, soft keys (and as there is also a delay in the player's reaction, you never know if the press is taken into account or not). As far as ergonomics are concerned, it is far from the current standard of remote controls.

The product seems very fragile.
Very very (much too) slow operation. More than 10 seconds before opening the drawer, even more before starting to play. One always wonders if it will work or not.
