I bought this charger to replace an old one that wasn't providing enough power.
This one works very well and allows my smartphone to charge in fast mode (I haven't yet used it with both sockets at the same time).
The green LED isn't very visible, but that's not really a problem.
A small, more visible light is missing to indicate charging. To see, you have to remove the cable
Not much to say about this mini charger, except that it is indeed mini and works very well.
Seeing other models for sale here, I couldn't see myself driving around with a charger poking out of the centre console of my car, especially right next to the gearstick. So this little model was just the thing to charge my smartphones when I'm on the road.
I'll just note that the green LED used as a power indicator could be better placed than hidden between the two USB ports, but that's really nitpicking.
Correct:
- standard size: fits well and stays in place in the cigarette lighter of my 308, without sticking out too much.
- correct power: charges the smartphone well while running waze
- 2 USB ports.
So 5 stars.
