Class S interfaces are available in the most common equipment found in these areas, so please refer to the compatibility matrix to ensure you have compatible equipment.
The Cisco SFP-10G-SR-S moduleThe Cisco 10GBASE-SR module allows a link of at least 26 metres over a multimode fibre(MMF) FDDI (Fiber Distributed Data Interface). Using 2000 MHz MMF (OM3) modulation, links of up to 300 metres are possible, and up to 400 metres using 4700 MHz MMF (OM4) modulation. |
