It's been a long time since I bought a non-modular power supply and I remember why. The little Zalman M2 Mini is bursting at the seams. But then, SFX modular power supplies are over 600W and double the price of an equivalent ATX.
To power a Ryzen 5 3600 and an RTX 3050, 450W is more than enough, and never mind the aesthetics and cable management.
I was mistaken when I ordered it, thinking I could install it in a conventional box to save space, but I was quite wrong in my understanding of the signs... in short, this 'SFX' is now being used in 'aerial' mode to power my test bench. It's stupid, but it's found its purpose and I'm delighted with it!
I took this power supply for a small project, as I had some parts that were sitting around gathering dust and I had a small MicroATX case with the SFX power supply format but in a power supply, I took the whole thing and bought this power supply to mount an old PC Gamer that will be running Linux for small games, even if it's not a crazy configuration.
Good power supply, nothing special to report, good quality mid-range, quiet and efficient. It's been running 24 hours a day for months without a hitch.
This is the first power supply I've bought in over 15 years, and I didn't know this SFX format until 1 month before ordering this product. For me, it is very satisfactory, the noise is rather contained, and the price is very competitive.
I use it to power a RX 6400 low profile (the XFX swift 105) on a Ryzen 5700G (I know the "G" was not necessary but I took advantage of a good opportunity) + in a very small HTPC type ITX case, the Silverstone ML05b, I have no particular problem with this power supply. Everything is fine.
For the case, it's another story, the air flow is complicated to manage and my setup heats up a bit too much. But it's not the fault of this power supply!

Good power supply.
The voltages hold and do not fade.
Even in gaming use, it holds the load without flinching and without making a 747 noise at take-off.
The temperatures, when monitoring, are very correct.
To be recommended.
