This is a basic card for which I was hoping to have at least h264 encoding, if not even 265, but in fact neither is possible.
I have an "old" GT 710 which has 264...
At 100 euros a card, you could still make an effort.

I bought it to replace an old GTX460 in a tower PC that couldn't handle 4K.

Bought to complete an office and multimedia configuration, this card works without any problem, both under Windows 10 and Linux Ubuntu 20.01. For Ubuntu, it's better to use the nvidia driver than the excellent linux driver, otherwise you'll have trouble waking up. I use it mainly for video editing, this card is perfectly suitable. I never hear the fan, but the card is built into an already well ventilated mid-tower case.
I was able to assemble and use the CG as planned, it runs very well! and here I put a few more words otherwise my comment will not pass...
Perfect to give a second life to an old PC! Easy to install, quiet and cost effective
For working with certain resource-intensive software, it does the trick, the little help for adobe software for example.
