The screen is large and looks solid. The initial smell has gone. Once unrolled, it wobbles a little but nothing serious.
I can't compare it with a more expensive screen, I'd just say it's good value for money.
This screen is of very good quality, the casing is beautifully made and moreover it is delivered with quality mounting accessories with a clear and well designed service instruction in French.
The service from LDLC, from the telephone enquiry to collection from the shop, was impeccable.

The delivery date was respected and the parcel was in good condition and well packaged.
Solid, lightweight metal structure.
Can be fixed to the ceiling or wall (hardware supplied).
The system rolls up and locks every 20 cm, making it practical for partial opening.
The fabric is of good quality and the videos look really good.
The only slight downside is that the fabric is not properly tensioned at the end of its travel.
But for the price, it's really very good (a canvas alone is just as expensive).
So I'm very happy with my purchase.
Used intensively for 7 months.
Good screen, easy to mount and handle. Fixed to the wall, the mechanism for raising it is not necessarily intuitive but you get used to it very quickly. A slight smell at first, but you just need to leave the screen up, air the room and this will disappear after a few days.
However, there's a big problem with the ripples. Although they were limited to the outer black edges during the first few months (that's what they're there for), today they have a significant impact on the projection area to the point of distorting the image... and that's a real shame.
It's an entry-level product, so it's hard to complain, especially as this is really the weak point of all these manual screen models... and some of them come at much higher prices. So it's still good value for money.
Overall, the screen is decent. It gives a sharp image and the product is decent. One minor problem is that when the screen is unrolled, it warps a little at the edges, but nothing to worry about. Rolling up the screen is noisy and it's hard to get the hang of rolling it up in one go.
The fabric seems to be of good quality, but it remains to be seen over time.
The mechanism appears to be sturdy, but should be held securely when raised. There is no retaining system.
OK for an entry-level screen. I would have preferred the black part to be even wider to lower the screen. A bit high for my taste.
A very nice, wide screen, but when it was assembled (with a level) the right-hand side of the screen was not smooth. It has slight undulations, waves on the screen that are visible when watching films. But I'm not complaining at this price :)

Very good rendering, very good image and very easy to fit. I was able to screw it into plaster and it held well.
I was attracted by its size/price ratio. It's relatively light and compact. The screen reflects colours perfectly.
This projection screen does everything it's supposed to do, the picture quality isn't affected, the screen doesn't bend excessively and the image isn't distorted. However, I've had it for over a year and a half now and I use it almost every day. I have a problem that has come to light: the locking catch doesn't work properly and sometimes it's impossible to lock it in the unfolded position. As a result, I would only recommend it to people who are looking for a screen for occasional use. I contacted LDLC warranty and it was refunded. Thank you LDLC for your professionalism.
The screen is of good quality but for the installation; I had to manage to fix it to the ceiling, because, in the box; there are parts which do not have instructions of assembly. That said, I did notice a small defect of about 1 cm (when the screen goes up completely, it sticks out a little more on one side than on the other.
This said I recommend this product.

For my part: installed in my living room.
The product is generally good, it smells a bit strong the first week, we installed it in our room, which for the smell side was not very pleasant.
Then the first times to go back up the screen is very fastidious, it blocks, it is necessary to try several techniques (besides nothing is indicated in the manual..), after some time that goes better but it is necessary nevertheless if to take at least in 4 times, impossible to go back up in one time.
the chemical smells emanating from the unfolded screen are just abominable....
I think that after a few days open it will be fine, but impossible to open it while being in the house or you will suffocate...
Product well received quite quickly. Correct packaging. The quality is quite appreciable considering the price including the relatively reasonable delivery charges. Thank you for your efforts.
The screen is well designed:- the ceiling fixing was no problem- the black "frame" around the white adds practicality and aesthetics- the white does the jobThe detail:To rewind the screen you really need to understand how it works which is not detailed in the instructions. You have to lower it a little and accompany it upwards, but not brake it, otherwise it will re-lock, and you have to brake it at the end so that it doesn't slam into the stop.
