Satisfied with this converter

This converter allows ARGB accessories (3pins 5v) to be operated with an RGB motherboard (4pins 12v). The installation is simple and discreet. Very satisfied with this product.

Probably bad luck

I only give a mark of 1/10 because I received a defective product in effect those converter 5v 12v RGB has in a first time quite simply not function and a faith that it finished by lighting the colour jumped follow the mode, to make simple I had to remain in colour fix if I wished that but ugly remains stable, I was thus satisfied with that until the moment after very little use the product knew to smoke and to make melt its own cable of feeding. I hope to have found a copy of this product because my pc could have caught fire if I hadn't noticed it.

        None

Doesn't work properly with my setup, makes the leds blink all the time, same for the fans even though I set them to fixed! In short, I asked you to come back

        Does the job but...

Functional converter, but it's still a Chinese quality product, the device doesn't power more than 4 to 5 enermax 120 mm led fan lights, if you have more, consider getting a second one (if you have already bought one...) and also plan a wire stripping and shunting sequence, if it's your 1st model, look for something else

        Compliant product

Product conforms. Compatibility corresponds to my expectations. Works perfectly. Caution: the connectors are sensitive.

        Top quality/price converter

8/10 just because it's a converter so not an essential part. I use it to connect my original DeepCool RGB fans (3pins-5v) to my CM X570 UD. No problem for the moment, my Gigabyte CM x570 UD manages perfectly the effects and colour (from static to flash ect.)
The only downside is that the "manual" is really too simplistic. The only downside is that the manual is too simplistic, but it could use more details and explanation for beginners.

PS: the box is really but really small and magnetic

        Good product

The case works very well, it integrates well with my Aura Sync motherboard, with a 4 pin header. This allows me to use my 5v fans on 3pins correctly.

12V to 5V converter! Yes, but...

Good little product, good packaging with brief explanations...

The converter is really small and can be installed anywhere with its magnetic base or with a sticky tape system. The cables supplied are well made and well thought out.

Otherwise, let's get straight to the point: it does indeed allow 5V fans to operate and therefore allows the converter to be connected to 12V, which is my case since the native argb is 12V on my motherboard. On the other hand, except for some light effects, the rest can be forgotten. Don't expect fantastic light shows. It's only partially addressable...

The problem is that it's only moderately compatible so here with the MSI MistycLight, it only finds a few settings.

But why didn't the motherboard manufacturers adopt the 5V connectors on the motherboards from the start... This should have been the standard and not play with 12V and 5V.

Anyway, given the price of the converter it does the job anyway so...

THE + : good little converter that does what it has to do... Its price.

THE MINUSES: not the fault of the converter but the standards imposed by the motherboard manufacturers. A pity...

Convenient to connect 12v and 5v LEDs

Useful for connecting 12v and 5v RGB LEDs, however it will be just one channel for it (the same as the motherboard), so it will not recognise the devices individually. So the LEDs will take the same colour as the motherboard. But at least now my 5v leds work with my 12v motherboard.
