Old tower without a Bluetooth card? No problem, with W10 or W11 it's recognised straight away, with an earlier version you have to go and find a driver (but if you're sticking with older versions, you know how to do it, don't you ;))
Connected to my tower which did not have Bluetooth. Impeccable product, works well, I recommended the same for my second computer (gaming). I would recommend it.
Positive point: the dongle works plug 'n' play under Ubuntu 22.04, so there's nothing to do.
Negative point: all the dongles have the same MAC address, so if you use several of them there will be conflicts and you'll need to change the address using software.

the chipset of this bluetooth dongle is not supported under Linux.
A patch exists but it implies to recompile a kernel much more recent than the LTS version of my system, which would imply the risk to make it unstable. So the dongle is unusable.
I tried the object and it works perfectly. I don't expect it to be used intensively, as my need is rather occasional, so I can't say more.
Just put it on the USB plug and it works. Impeccable, what more could you ask for ? The hardest part was getting it out of its packaging.
I bought it mainly to connect my Dualsense controller via Bluetooth. Works perfectly. I occasionally use it for a bluetooth headset as well, and it doesn't work either.

Bought to connect a JVC bluetoth headset, it also allowed me to use my XBox One wireless controller very easily under Windows 10. Installs in plug and play without having to hunt for drivers in the four corners of the net, it's perfect.
Works very well and very quickly on Linux (Ubuntu).

Does its job perfectly, allows me to put my bluetooth headphones on my desktop computer to avoid being with the gaming headset all the time. And the range is very good, I can still get sound from my PC a few meters beyond my desk.

With this usb/bluetooth adapter on PC, my headset loses the signal when I change rooms at 5m whereas connected to the bluetooth of my TV, I go up to 15m and in all rooms of the house. I conclude that this adapter has a low power.
Excellent value for money, I bought it to connect my headset and controller to the PC, no worries.
This product works perfectly and is easy to use. You just plug it in and it installs in 1-2 minutes. However, on the product page, it is not specified that the product also allows the connection of VR controllers.
I was able to pair my boombox with my PC easily, I really recommend this product.
I have already rated this dongle 10/10. I give my solution to increase its range. Just connect it to a 1m or 2m male/female USB extension cable depending on
the location of your PC. Then attach the end of this extension cable with the
TP-LINK as high as possible (on top of a piece of furniture, hanging on the wall...).

Small bluetooth key that completes my configuration on fixed PC. What is it for? Mainly to play wirelessly with a PS4 controller. And even two. Not much to say: it works well, as soon as you plug in the key the bluetooth is recognized (Windows 10) and the price is interesting.
The only downside for me is the range... but that's related to my specific use: I use my PC both on a desktop and on a TV. When I'm next to the PC, no problem, but when I'm in front of the TV, i.e. about 4m from the PC, I have a very unstable signal. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to use it on my PC, but I'm sure I'll be able to use it on my TV.
The adapter works perfectly and is, since the purchase, commonly used with Linux. Nothing to complain about :-)
Bought to add motion controllers for mixed reality in windows 10 - set up and recognition without problems - PERFECT
Works very well, range about 15m. Sensors, printer and speaker communicate. Easy to install.
I had cheap blutooth dongles and it did the job more or less but I often had signal loss on my peripherals and it ended up bothering me.
So I bought this key and I'm happy with it, I don't have to hold my handkerchief or anything else closer for it to pick up.
For what it costs now, you don't have to bother with cheap stuff that doesn't work well, I recommend this.
works well but the range is extremely limited (not even 1m before losing the signal completely, a little less than 1m and wireless earphones jerk...)
The dongle was immediately recognised by W10 and the Bluetooth headset (Marshall Major II BT) was connected without any problem. No loss of connection, decent range, I can walk around my house with the headset on my ears without a hitch.
easy to install, good speed reception with an adsl box. I don't know if the performance will be the same with fibre.
I can't connect my plantronic headset via the blutooth network. Very disappointed, as this was the purpose of this purchase.
