Purchase for PLC link. Excellent, fulfils its purpose well. Small downside: a little stiff. Very good Q/P ratio.
The cable works, no problem, but it's not designed to be moved around on a laptop. If you tend to reposition your laptop often while keeping the cable inserted in the port, because of its rigidity, the cable may come out of the port. It is therefore better to use it on a fixed type device or not to move the equipment.

I found the 8.1 ethernet cables I was looking for on the LDLC site and delivery was quick and well packaged.
The only cable of this length that worked the first time at 10Gbps full duplex, but the price is exorbitant (hence the missing star)!
A very good quality cable that does the job perfectly for the ethernet connection, I recommend this cable.
Mind you, it's top level, but there's a downside. It has to be earned. If you really want Cat.8.1, be aware that it's thick, rigid cable. Forget wall corners with 90-degree bends, you need coves, you need to get out the chainsaw, the groover, forget sheaths, you need to round off the corners, a 30 cm radius is the minimum. Think carefully before buying the latest technology.

The connector snaps perfectly into place in the port provided, it doesn't 'wobble', it just grips tightly. The connection seems even smoother and more stable thanks to the qualities of this very good product. Thanks LDLC!

The price is high, especially if you want a good languor, but the cable is well worth the price.
At a time when interference is playing a negative role in high speed networks, these RJ45 cables need to be shielded from interference. Now, the shielding is heavy, I think it should be a metal sheet rather than a weave. However, this metal foil must be very thick.
So I take off a star on this extreme rigidity, able to lift my switch after a cable angulation!
Bought to connect my server with RJ45 10Gb output with a Netgear 10Gb switch. Everything is fine, the 10Gb transmission is effective. I could have taken 6A or 7 but I wanted to test the 8.1 out of curiosity. Beware the cable is massive and very rigid.
Speed is good but the cable is not very flexible without being rigid either due to the diameter
More fluidity, more speed. A cable that changes everything. Never underestimate the importance of a good cable, and especially avoid those provided with your box.
Category 8 cable, very exaggerated for my installation but I wanted to try some quality to compare with the more classic one. Not on it
I've been using it for a long time now, but it's a great way to connect a computer to a computer. The cable is a bit stiff and needs to be passed through the cable tray, but there's no loss of speed, even with electrical cables.
I'm not sure if it's too stiff to connect directly to a PC.
